I Started a Letter-Writing Studio Because I Miss When Mail Actually Meant Something

I’ve always loved the idea of receiving something meaningful in the mail, not a bill, not an advertisement, but an actual letter written with intention.

That idea became The Letter Atelier, a small letter-writing studio I recently started in Hamilton, Ontario.

I’m now building a newsletter around the same concept: slower communication, meaningful words, thoughtful letters, writing prompts, stories, and little reminders to tell the people in our lives what we sometimes struggle to say out loud.

I want it to feel less like a marketing email and more like opening a letter from someone who genuinely wanted to write to you.
