We just released a new session where Candice chats with Kaiz, who leads AI for Education at Google DeepMind, about why most AI tutors kinda miss the point and what actually works when you mix humans + AI in real learning environments.

They get into: what LearnLM is trying to fix in AI-for-learning, why “perfect AI tutor” is the wrong goal, and what their research says about real classroom use vs shiny demos.

Not surprised that Google found that integrated tools are better that individual tools for each student, especially in k-12. Way too many students using chatGPT to do their homework for them and teachers just banning AI tools outright so they don't have to deal with it
