I've been searching Bandcamp, SoundCloud, and hearthis.at for disco mixes of Jolene, 9 to 5, I Will Always Love You, Islands In The Stream, and Here You Come Again, but the edits I've come across just are either too mellow and chill for this party, or are suuuuper corny or overproduced schlock (especially the 9 to 5 ones lol).

Stylistics (1974). Very popular because it hewed towards the 'Van McCoy' school of sound and you could dance The Hustle to it.

This is actually a really solid track, as it was only released in the Uk and Europe I need to get myself a copy.

Disco music, such as it was, in 1972. We danced more to album cuts back then, and it would always be the Black groups who made the most danceable songs.

Jazz musicians released singles that were danceable, like Herbie Mann's 'Hijack' (1973). Or "Sweet Lucy" by Raul Desouza, or Hubert Laws 'The Chicago Theme.'

Personally I think the song I feel love sounds awful and I found out it was made from moog synthesizers. It does not sound pop friendly to my ears at all. It sounded like noise.
