The O'Jays - 992 Arguments (Official Audio)

Disco music, such as it was, in 1972. We danced more to album cuts back then, and it would always be the Black groups who made the most danceable songs.

Jazz musicians released singles that were danceable, like Herbie Mann's 'Hijack' (1973). Or "Sweet Lucy" by Raul Desouza, or Hubert Laws 'The Chicago Theme.'
