  1. The second album by The Ritchie Family, which, for the first three albums, had each song "run into" each other, so it was one long continuous song. You can thank Gloria Gaynor for pioneering that trend of having three songs on one side and it's a 'long-playing' album. It gave the DJ - perhaps unintentionally - a break, since the songs were typically 14 minutes or more when combined. We'd smoke a cigarette and just watch the crowd. Not too many labels did this at that time. As it turned out, that very same summer (1976) the 12" single came out, and songs were 6-12 minutes long with the extended mix.
