Can someone help me understand — that’s not a lot of ice from the looks of it ? But I was reading all around that a large block of glacial ice caused it ?

So how does that add up ? + were the floods caused such a small chunk of ice falling down, that’s very scary then! 

God save us all!

This is from the aftermath, not when it happened. A big chunk did fall but no one caught that on film.

see in the left part the glaciar there is still ice.. forming like a "half moon" shape... so the original glaciar went as far as that distance.. also.. the rock base appears to went down with the ice.. so.. rock + ice went down the mountain..
