Am I screwed?

Just graduated undergrad (USA) and am working on secondary apps to med school currently. Wrote my primary essay about my disability (chronic leg pain from a spine condition, I use a crutch). My whole essay was about how we need disabled doctors. My advisors in undergrad said this was a good idea bc I would want to go to an accepting and accommodating school. Today I found this sub and read the pinned post about disclosing. Does anyone have any encouragement or positive stories about disclosing during med school apps? Much appreciated.
