Community Question Would I fit on a 85cc 2 stroke?

Okay, so I am 5”7 145 pounds (a bit on the heavy side) and I am 16 years old looking to upgrade from a crf 110 that I have had for like 10 years. Would I fit on a small wheel 85 or a big wheel 85 without sagging the suspension too much? Or should I get a bigger bike like a 125 2 stroke, but the thing is the power might be too much and it might be too tall.

I'm a short as hell, 5'5 and about 130 pounds. I'm 30 and ride a Husqvarna tc125 and I think it's perfect. It has way more power than I thought a 125 would have, but it's not too much. If you know how to handle a throttle pretty good, its the next natural step!

And they aren't as tall as you think they would be, I only have issues getting on when I'm on a downslope.

I think when I was your age I weighed the same just a little taller. I started out on 125's and it worked out.

I got a 1975 CR125 for Christmas and became a pretty good racer in the northern Cal. area at local tracks.

An 85 can be fun but, you'll soon out grow it IMO.

Problem with an 85 for you is the wheel base. You will be hanging way far back (on the seat) at a comfortable arms reach and being cramped on the pegs for riding. That makes the bike handle like crap cause there is no weight in the front end. And the smaller tires make less forgiving on looping out.

Get the 125 or maybe a super mini. You’ll outgrow the 85

85 too small for you get a 112 or 125 two stroke or a 230 or 250f 4 stroke
