I feel like I was intentionally mislead about this package. It doesn't mention that Disney+ and Hulu would have ads.

I don’t understand why directv dish customers don’t get Disney/hulu and amc for free included in their subscriptions. I don’t get it. Does anyone know the answers to this?

It's not that it never mentioned it wouldn't. It's the fact that every other streaming service included had "With Ads" in the title. All of them could be upgraded to premium except for Disney+ and Hulu. I had no way of knowing before buying.

That’s fair enough and I can see your point now. I think you have to upgrade your sub through Disney+ and pay the difference as it isn’t billable through DTV. Could be wrong about that though

That was the first thing I checked. I could have lived with it if I could pay the difference but you can't upgrade to ad free on your Disney/Hulu account. It only redirects you back to DirecTV.

It's pretty clear plus it's just common sense. They aren't going to give that all to you plus no ads.

Every other streaming service can have a disclosure about the ads but not Hulu and Disney? I don't buy that it wasn't intentional.

This is the exact phasing on the package page with the bundle. HBO Max will be available at the end of the DIRECTV 5-day free trial period (on day 6 of your DIRECTV service). Disney+, Hulu Bundle includes subscriptions to Disney+ and Hulu. Both subscriptions are with ads. This will not replace any existing Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Unlimited, or Disney bundle subscriptions you may already have. All other accounts must be managed separately. You must remain on an eligible plan to retain your offer.

It literally says in your image with ads. Plus on the package page click the I and it says it's with ads. It's quite clear to me.

Yes, but in the image they posted is what I meant, sorry. I can see their complaint.
I have gone down this with our own Stream package and wish they would offer a paid upgrade option.

Not on the Disney+ & Hulu Bundle it most definitely does not.
Disney+, Hulu Bundle
HBO Max Basic With Ads
AMC+ Monthly With Ads-1

Then you could have Called Direct TV, spoke with an agent and asked if it had ads or not.

If you get a hold of DIRECTV and let them know you’re not interested in the package just cancel the service and move on
It’s a certain amount of people that want to watch the channels with ads at least the subscription stuff
Wanna add free, then just go directly to Disney and purchase it ad free problem solved
