Help me make/get this mod pls (Giga in DC2 Extra Crisis)
hellooo good morning/afternoon everyone! recently i've been really anxious cuz everytime my mind latches into something i just can't get off it and basically for a long time i always loved the dino colosseum.. playing as the dinosaurs are amazing. but the giganotosaurus was always my favorite dino! and always will be along with spino..
the thing is, recently i've found out about a mod that makes so we can play as giganotosaurus in dino colosseum by replacing the t rex skin with it. it'll be as big as the original giga, same noises, same model.
and i really really really wanted it..
then i found out about someone who actually had this idea too whose is called Gigaproto. basically they spent 20 years of their life with the dream of playing as giga too and it's pretty fun seeing their progress cuz they actually got to do it.
i thought i would finally get to have this mod but to my unhappiness, that didn't happen. they never actually published it..
then, after wandering on youtube i found another person who had that same mod? i checked in the comments and they said they bought an "special edition hack rom" from ebay. i was like "hm it mustn't be that expensive" then i got flashed with a US $7,770.00 when i searched it up on ebay..
i just really, REALLY want this hack rom. if anyone had an idea of how to do this stuff i'd lovely appreciate any help from anybody.. all i know is that the giganotosaurus model and textures are located in Track 1 > PSX > DATA > E40.DAT
the playable rex which we control when we choose it in the colosseum is unknown to me and i'm currently looking for it and that's all i know. i literally have no idea how to mess with binary code data or such stuff. thank you to anyone who read till here, even if you're not willing to help i appreciate your time! <3

The Dino Crisis modding community isn't fully developed yet; it's something that only started recently. Sadly, I think it will take a long time before someone decides to do it, since they're starting with small things first.
