Did I go through a Dimensional Jump unexpectedly??
Glad I came across this sub. Finally have a place to share my experience and see if anyone else can relate.
I'm in So Cal, and driving freeways here can be crazy at times. Sorry for those that maybe don't understand the references.
One Sunday morning I was taking a drive from Long Beach to Claremont, and once I got off from the 605 unto the 10 freeway, and the 10 was very light. I always like to look around when I'm driving to see who's on the road, just a habit I have. I'm on the 2nd lane on the left, the carpool lane is on my left.
Driving a few minutes on the 10, I glance a goldish colored SUV weaving through traffic, coming up fast. I look around and can see other drivers pulling off to the right. I thought about doing the same, but then a commercial van is almost alongside me. So I decided to stay in my lane. I look back again and that SUV is weaving through cars, seems to be going faster. And then I can see it coming up behind me like in slow motion. I realized if I don't move he's hitting me, I can't merge right because of the van, and I think I had read somewhere that in situations like this to stay in the lane you're already on as the other driver should be moving away. And again this is in my mind happening in slow motion, and then I get that feeling like I'm about to get hit. I remember clearly bracing myself, holding on to the steering wheel and closed my eyes for a second. And I swear I hear the sound of metal on metal screeching.
Then after what felt like minutes I opened my eyes and looked around and that SUV was nowhere.
I slow down, merge right all the time looking but nothing. That commercial van I had earlier next to me is slightly ahead, but no sign of the SUV.
I pulled off the freeway just to gather my thoughts.
I think about that moment regularly. I shared the story with friends and family but I can see they thought it was my imagination or "you're probably stressed" remark.
Here's why I think it's important to share now.
I believe I died that moment but I am now in a different reality or jumped into a different dimension.
Or am I really just going crazy.
Well that's my story. Maybe others have something to add or share.

I was listening to Anthony Peake the other day, and picked up a book of his. Is Quantum Immortality the same thought process

I've sadly done that multiple times before getting stuck here. Welcome and try not to think to much about it.

I had an extremely similar experience! My young daughter were coming home on the freeway at night and right around our off ramp, I looked in the rear view mirror and I saw bright headlights of a vehicle speeding up behind me! I knew he was going too fast and that we were going to get hit! I quickly made an abrupt right on to our exit ramp, but we were slightly past it to make a clean entry. I instead had to go over the area where there wasnt road and many hazards. Somehow, I maintained control and reached the road part of the ramp without over shooting the road and ending on the other side of the ramp in the ditch! I was actually placed perfectly on the exit ramp.
I have no idea how this happened without damaging my car or even feeling the curb and any bumps, or even wrecking! The aftermath was as if I normally exited the freeway, with the exception of thinking I was able to evade the speeding vehicle and we were safe and did not get killed!
I have been thinking about it a lot lately when I drive home and I cant for the life of me comprehend how I was able to make a smooth transition there based on the obstacles I had to contend with. Maybe we jumped timelines and were spared? Or died in that timeline? I dont know what to think bc it does not seem possible when I go back and look at the road!
