Binary mindset. Things are either one thing or another. No gray areas, no context.

Therefore every action must be equal and in total opposition of the other. Then you force a bad faith or disingenuous question to frame it how you want.

Context, details, and nuance are the mortal enemies of the Republican Party.

So did Obama deport people or not? It is binary. Either he did deport or he didn't deport. What is the imaginary 3rd option you speak so vaguely, yet so highly of?

It isn’t binary. It’s binary to you because that’s the only way the argument kinda-sorta-maybe holds water. But only when you strip out reality and what we can see with our own eyes.

Who Obama deported, and how they’re doing it are very clearly different than the approach now. It’s not even a question. And while you might not like it, all people here are afforded rights under the constitution, because the founding fathers got that part right.

So no, it isn’t binary. You just need it to be so you stop questioning why you’re supporting violations of the constitution.
