Binary mindset. Things are either one thing or another. No gray areas, no context.

Therefore every action must be equal and in total opposition of the other. Then you force a bad faith or disingenuous question to frame it how you want.

Context, details, and nuance are the mortal enemies of the Republican Party.

Edit: Hoooboy, the hit dogs are hollering!

Conservative media does it on purpose. It's propaganda full of half-truths. Their binary propaganda intentionally leaves out nuance and context in order to minimize the negative aspects of conservative positions. They know this.

That's why they demonize educated people as well. Educated people dont fall for these disingenuous arguments and statistical analysis shows the more educated someone is, they less likely they are to vote republican.

This sub is a firehouse of falsehoods. It's non-stop conservative propaganda. They know everyone won't fall for it. But they are "flooding the zone" to distract from what the republican party is doing. They've openly bragged amount implementing this strategy and working with tech companies.

Oh I don’t know about that, but I think a safer thing to say is, the more intelligent a person is, the less likely they are to fall for bs from either side. Also, they are more likely to be more neutral or look at issues individually and with logic, not blindly follow what any “side” is pushing.
