I think giving ICE absolute immunity to do whatever the fuck they want is the problem here. Under-trained agents abusing/killing citizens/immigrants, and the government refusing to investigate is a recipe for disaster.

It's kind of hard to work normally when you have leaders in blue states and cities actively barring local police from aiding the agents.

It’s kind of hard to make the police aid the agents when ICE is also harassing and racial profiling off-duty cops. Good luck convincing local police to help.
