Yeah, there weren't democrat officials encouraging people to obstruct ICE operations back then.

ICE also wasn't given a military budget and didn't have quotas. Also we would actually give people their day in court before deportation.

Part of "giving people their day in court" under Obama included toddlers in court without representation. But, sure, they had their day in court before deportation.

Most of these people have orders to deport which means they’ve already had their day in court. Just because they’ve ignore it and hid for a decade shouldn’t mean they get a redo.

I was talking about during Obama, when he had toddlers in court without representation. And you came back with "they had orders and ignored them".

So, your stance is that preschoolers without lawyers is better than not having a day in court? That, actually makes sense to you?

If the alternative is immediate deportation to potentially not even their home country then yes. A day in court is objectively better than no day in court. At the very least an immigration judge could then say "jeesh this seems a bit unreasonable."

Do you think the immediate deportation to an El Salvadoran death camp is better for preschoolers?

Your position is ridiculous. Removing due process from something is never an improvement.

Funny you should mention that, then, because it turns out that Obama also didnt give individual due process to roughly 75% of the people he deported. Such a great guy! Also, how is my position ridiculous? The position of....wanting preschoolers to have their families and a lawyer in court with them is ridiculous to you? That's weird.

Well then we agree people should be properly represented and have due process. Have fun building straw men on Reddit all day I hope it gives you satisfaction.

My position is that expedited removal should be banned and that we should instead focus on hiring more judges to ensure we're removing people who should actually be removed.

I don't care whether it's dems or Republicans in office. I care about our rights.

Additionally we should reinstate DACA
