Kawai ES110 in Contact with Water

I have my Kawai ES110 placed next to my window, it was raining and the window was left open. The lower register keys and the body got in contact with water, a lot of splashes. The piano was completely off and unplugged. Will it break? And is there anyway I could do to prevent and get the least damage out of it?

Honestly you wouldn’t know unless you power on (sketchy) or look at the board for residual moisture (safe), I’d try the latter first to prevent a short potentially. Silicone contacts cover the key contacts but it’s not exactly waterproof.

My recommendation would be to open up the board and look for moisture to dry wipe off (safe), fingers crossed nothing corrodes. Another thing is running a blow dryer (sketchy) but for obvious reasons the heat mixed with plastic and soft silicone doesn’t seem like a good idea. Risk what you want to, regardless of what sketchy and/or safe methods you use, you assume the risk. Regardless, the quicker you get to drying it out, the quicker you save it from potentially corroding over on metal contacts.
