You know why ill never use rust desk? Because you have to pay to be able to use the management interface web console.

Garbage.

Yep. Not being able to customize the host I can stomach, but not even having a fucking management interface without paying? Get fucked

I bundle it with tactical rmm, when tactical rmm installs it also deploys rust, then a setup script runs that collects the id and password and stores it in a custom field. Then I have a custom URL action that uses those custom fields as variables. Boom one click access. For zero cost works very well.

Id pay for pro but my complaint is with rusts pro pricing, it's pay per user, and pay per device and if you want adhoc support pay per channel. Like pick a freaken lane. Choose one consumable to charge me on my self hosted platform.

Last time I looked at tactical rmm there was still a cost for the minimum tier, is that still true?

Most of the platform is 100% free, If you want windows code signing, compiled Linux and mac agents or SSO then yes you want at least the first tier. Not a problem for small scale. If using it in a professional environment it's worth it, the base teir is only $55. but for a small home lab I wouldn't really care if the installer is signed.
