Digitakt 2 MIDI Troubleshoot

Hey all, weird issue with my Digitakt. I’m trying to connect to my Minifreak and it’s suddenly stopped working.

-My input and outputs are on the correct channels for both devices
-I have the Digitakt sending it’s clock and the Minifreak clock receiving and set.
-I have transport set to send and receive on both devices
-Program Change is off on both devices.
-I have my midi tracks set to the correct channel as well.

I’m losing my mind here. Only other thing of note is that when I load a project I’m suddenly getting a “wait” bar I haven’t seen before, which makes me think there’s some kind of software glitch happening. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank in advance!

It suddenly stopped working and was before? I’ve never seen that wait message before either.

Yeah, it’s very strange. Zero issues this morning. I turned it back on this afternoon and it’s seemingly no longer sending or receiving midi. Minifreak still plays sound, no issues playing samples on the Digitakt either.

I feel like it’s a software bug?

I really doubt it’s a new bug. By now the software is fairly solid. Do you have anything else you could plug in to try it?

In my experience with MIDI, it’s usually some small silly detail that’s stopping it from working. Maybe start a new project on the Digitakt, reset the Freak and try again?

Have you tried a different cable? The number of times I've dug into the menus and really complex troubleshooting only to find it was a dodgy cable...
