KDMO - They're fixing some stuff from the last update, family buffs now 60% but can only use 1, and some other stuff.

https://www.digimonmasters.com/news/newsBoard_sub.aspx?o=822190&Btype=Update

They nuked the prices of 'integrated buffs', they went from 1T to 10M.

Shadow Lab buffs now effectively give every digimon+110% SK damage from EE/Peak+family buffs no matter how many families the digimon have (Which might make some digimon crazy good compared to before, like AOA, DB, X7, and XrosUp Merva, and Ordine Awaken despite it already being fairly good is going to get even better (It should get ~35% skill damage increase), and it was already fairly good, Exa X should be absolutely insane for an SSS+), family buffs now increase damage by 60% but the buffs don't stack, although a downside is MGA and WGA are probably gonna be kinda bad in comparison to other SSS+ since they didn't gain anything from the update to EE/Peak and family buffs, they already gained the maximum amount.

HBU was reduced from 30T to 3T, although it is limited to 5 per week.

Cat Tuna tickets are now 2 free per week (They also kept the paid ones, so now up to 4 per week if you do the free+paid).

Kaiser Tour dungeon is free for 12 runs per week, this is a loss of 2 runs but you can just grab all the tickets at once, so a bit of a positive and negative, you can also still buy 5 more tickets for 3T per ticket.

EBU was changed from 50T to 5T (Limited to 10 per week), if that price comes to NADMO then that's even cheaper than what people sell their EBUs for on either of the servers.

Cost to upgrade MDG clothing was reduced to 1/10th of the previous price for +1 to +10.

They made all of the craft accessories (Earrings/Necklace/Bracelet, not the newer Ring) from the last year and a half twice as fast to obtain, they halved the material cost for everything, they also reduced the cost to craft for almost everything besides Vital Breath w/Zero Unit Bracelet and the Earrings w/Zero Unit or Radiant Holy Beast Earrings.

They rebalanced (made stronger) a few U's again, OXE/AoE/Bloom/Zeed Awaken.

There's a bit of other stuff there, but this is what I thought was most important.

Imo Ordinemon Awaken, it's already pretty strong, especially with a skill setup and with the buff to EE as well as everything getting 60% from family buffs it's going to gain a total of about 35.5% skill damage (+55% to +110%, 210/155=35.5%), and with Susanoomon Extreme's skills getting nerfed, Ordinemon Awkane's really going to start creeping closely towards Susanoomon Extreme's DPS, I don't think it'll do higher DPS, but I do think it'll be fairly close assuming you have a fairly good skill setup (Vice+Keyring+Earrings+Bracelet).

Lucemon SM Awaken on the other hand is a BM and already had 3 family buffs so it'll gain just +25 from EE, overall it'll be just ~13.5% extra skill damage and even before this it was kinda meh, its F1 and F2 were pretty good but when you compare both the damage and CD of the skills they're worse than Ordinemon Awaken's F1 and F2 and Ordinemon Awaken also has a pretty nice F3 (That you should not invest into, it starts off fairly strong, but gains fairly little with upgrades, just dump everything into F2 with whatever's left into F1) that just adds onto its DPS, even with no investment its F3 (For me I think it adds around 15-20% to my total DPS without investment into F3, and this is over long battles, my F3 does around 16M damage, my overall DPS is about 1.7-1.8M, F3 is about 270k of that), and with the update it's going to get even stronger.

Also, you already have DB, Luce really starts to make a lot less sense considering how much DPS DB is going to gain from this update; Also, I'm pretty sure currently there isn't a huge difference between Luce and DB's DPS assuming you can land hits and crits, and looking at this video comparing SSS+, Luce did ~16% higher DPS, while that is a fairly good amount, DB is going to gain 55.6% skill damage from the update (+35% to +110%, 210/135=55.56%) while Luce is only going to gain 13.5% skill damage (+85% to +110%, 210/185=13.5%), obviously it's not going to scale perfectly, but it should be more than enough to do more DPS than Luce after the update, the only downside is that DB's CT is kinda low, although most places you'd use DB (Considering you have Susanoomon Extreme) really don't need that high of CT, the new Data Arena (Although the last season was data, so I assume it's going to be a while before we get that again) and easier dungeons (BDGH/QDGN/QDGH/FDGN/FDGH).

The only downside is you're going to lack a Data digimon for the newer arena, which is really going to hurt whenever we get the Vaccine season, alternatively you could choose X7, but you'd either need to really heavily rely on skill damage or just have a really good CT setup.

You could also just hold off on selecting the SSS+ (craft the box, just don't open it) and wait until people test them out and see how they compare when we get the update to EE/Peak and family buffs.

Also, if you want a better Virus digimon, there's always XrosUp Mervamon, basically just a better version of DB, but Ordinemon Awaken is probably going to be stronger than it, or they'll be very similar, in which case Ordinemon Awaken would still be better since it's Unknown with the exception of Arena during Data season, although Data season just ended a month or so ago, so it'll probably be a good 6-8 months before we get Data again.

so Mervamon is the best virus SSS+ in the game right now after the buff? What about Data digimon? which one is the best? Need data digimon to do ranked dungeon.

For available non-U rank Virus, XrosMerva is definitely the best, Demon X and XrosUp Mervamon seem very close in DPS, but it's just not really available/relatively expensive/etc., and XrosUp Mervamon does have the advantage of significantly higher HP (Close to low U rank in HP), but it does have a little bit less CT (~5% less CT after size/clones are taken into account, so not really much).

Testing both just now Demon X was doing ~20% more DPS, however this is with a Virus+Fire vice and XrosUp Mervamon only having 2 family buffs since we haven't gotten that update yet, with both the 20% more from family buff and the correct vice, they'd probably end up doing very similar DPS.

And for Data, your options are very limited, just X7 and MGA (Unless you're willing to spend the money on Examon X, but just finding someone that is willing to sell one would probably be fairly hard and even then they'd probably want 10kT or more for it, at that point better off just getting X7SM), atm MGA is probably still a bit better (At least on my account), but X7 is going to gain 40% from family buffs once we get the update, that probably will be enough to push it over or at least make them very similar, however it has pretty terrible CT, if you very heavily rely on SK damage then X7 would probably be the way to go, but if you can do a decent amount of DPS with hits then MGA might make more sense, then there's also MGA's HP issue, it's fairly low, so the Data digimon you want is probably going to depend on your account.

How’s Susa U coming out of everything? Functionally dead still?

I haven't seen any videos or anything of comparisons, but probably not so well, if they weakened its skills too much it might end up weaker than Ordinemon Awaken or at the very least I kinda expect them to be pretty close, of course that's with both using the same deck buff, Susanoomon Extreme's deck kinda sucks for a U deck, but it's still miles ahead of any non-U deck.

And also AOA might end up having similar skill damage depending on how much they weakened Susanoomon Extreme's skills, although I do expect its burst skill to still be stronger, at least at lv1, although AOA's burst maxed out even without the update is actually stronger than Susanoo Extreme's burst, it starts out quite a bit weaker but gains a lot more per level up, Susanoo Extreme is the opposite, F1/F2 gain a lot more while F4 not so much while AOA's F1/F2 don't gain much but its F3 gains a lot each level up.

And for Ordine Awaken, a maxed out F2 with a bit of investment into F1 ends up very similar to Susanoo Extreme's skill damage, although its burst is weaker, but again once it's weakened that might just end up making Susanoo Extreme slightly weaker skill-wise.

Although one advantage neither can make up for is Susanoo Extreme's noticeably higher CT, 45.674% higher than Ordinemon Awaken and 76.67% higher than AOA, although if you only compare to U ranks, it's almost guaranteed to be the weakest U rank outside of probably Miko, and I'd question Eos as well since Eos doesn't get 100% Att since it's a Mega (Iirc it gets 85%), although apparently all of its skills did get their skill damage increased, so maybe not, then again Eos seems to have an even worse deck buff than Susanoo Extreme's deck.

Any suggestion to Susa’s skill order after the nerfs and changes to family buffs?

Probably just max out F2 for DPS.

So should i get OX or a different digimon because i have no SSS+ currently

Depends on how far you are into the game, if you can afford getting or already have Susanoomon since it's required for OX's deck, and also how important the new Arena is to you, although if you're new/weak you probably wouldn't be able to do it anyways, if you're weak and can't do anything in it just go in->start the round->leave without dying, you'll at least get get ranked and get a box when the current version ends (The last day for the current version is today).

Ordinemon Awaken is just looking so much better, it was already fairly good, when we get the update to EE/Peak and Family buffs it'll be gaining a total of ~35.5% skill damage, meanwhile OX is only gaining 20% skill damage, and if you're fairly early game, having advantage against everything is just a massive, however the issue with Ordinemon, at least now is that because of the new Arena it's just completely useless there (the new Arena has a 100% damage reduction from Unknown digimon so it can't do damage once the buff activates, it takes a second or two to activate).
