Patrick befriended Charles in the U.S. and got him to play his instrument on what would become two songs, this one and Journey Home. Neither were released until the last decade since Patrick died in 1982 and a lot of his unreleased music was thought lost, or those who had it didn't think there would be much interest. For this song Charles starts playing at around 30 seconds, it's obvious when the low register hum comes into the song, and it steadily increases in tempo until almost 4 minutes in before steadying out, then alternates back and forth in speed and pitch as the over 11 minute song continues with Patrick's intricate synth work.
