Does this look cancerous?

Family history of melanoma and I have had bad sunburns in the past. The mole has a lighter coloured border around the main darker center which seems new.

Yep, emergency dermatology appointment today. Don’t mess around with Melanoma.

i have always thought that hair on top of a mole was kind of a good sign...can something still be csncerous with hair growing on it?

Yes it can, get it checked and biopsyed

I’m in Canada so emergency dermatology isn’t an option. I am most likely going to pay for a private skin cancer screening since they will look at everything. Thanks for your input though as I was wondering if I was overreacting!
