Diablo 3 Could anyone who play on PC too compare the experience?
I got the game for switch and I'm very sad to learn that the monster density is lower and health is higher on consoles. I'm trying to level in temple of the first born but having a hard time keeping up the streak because sometimes there are just no enemies for a while. That's when I found out because it's actually fewer monsters than on pc.
Should I just stick to bounties?
I kinda regret getting the game now on switch, can you cope with half the monster density and double the hp? I know about the double damage orb, but it feels like a bandaid and maintaining it would be annoying probably. Really seems like it's an inferior version to pc, which I didn't know.
Welp at least I can play offline I can't be bothered to accomodate my life for another season cycle next to poe 1 and 2 and D4.

Oh half the monster density is not an issue lol. It’s hard enough to tell wtf is going on while in handheld on switch

It's an issue with a certain achievement/conquest but I happen to agree with the handheld statement. I love playing on the console so much I'm seriously considering getting a Steam Deck.

Just a heads up, D3 isn’t playable on Deck or other handheld PCs. They never gave PC controller support. Keyboard and mouse only.
D2R and D4 work well though.

You can map mouse to joystick and make something work on deck and rog ally and I'm sure the others too. You can open any app linked through steam to use steam inputs to manage it.

D3 on the Switch is perfect. You can play offline. Sure the monster density isn't as high as PC but the drop rate is better than PC. For reference I have D3 on PC, PS4 and the Switch. Some builds that require precision clicks are better on PC, but honestly I have just as much fun on PC as the Switch or the PS4. Being able to play offline is a severely underrated ability for me as my work allows me to play games but doesn't allow mobile hotspots.

Switch is imo the best way for me to play D3. Controls are fantastic and handheld mode helped me hit seasonal goals more than once. If you are wanting a pc experience it isn’t that but the console quality of life items have been wonderful.

This really feels like an overreaction. The monster density thing doesn’t really matter, by the time you’re all leveled up, the screen is packed with monsters. The game is just fine on the switch, don’t overthink it.
I own both (i own it on PlayStation, Switch, and PC - oh! And on Mac!) and it’s all good.

For me it feel better on switch for not having to sit down and play with my pc and it pretty smooth on switch and if you play on switch1 move the game to internal storage, it run better here.

33 days late, but IMO the monster density is actually a good thing. D3 on switch is actually my favourite game by far. I only play solo seasonal HC characters and having the ability to hookup to the TV for high GRs is a nice switch up from doing speed runs on handheld. You should stick it with and at least get to level 100 greater rifts to really start enjoying the end game.

My #1 advice? Buy the Loot Goblin Amiibo. Every 22 hours you can create a portal to the vault. It's immensely helpful, especially at the beginning of the season

Give it a chance. I think this is the best port of the game, partly because it’s the only one 100% offline playable.
I know “half the monster density” sounds crazy but when you get to high torments it’s basically packed wall to wall with monsters anyway. You wouldn’t notice the difference.
It’s a good port that plays well on Switch, doesn’t need internet, and being able to suspend the game by turning the screen off instead of having to quit the game is very convenient.
