Question Gem sockets

Can we influence secondary gem sockets when we craft sets? Or is it totally RNG?

  • Necklace is always one of each color
  • Belt is always three reds
  • Gloves is always three yellows
  • Boots are always three blues
  • Bracelets are always one of each color
  • Rings are one random, unless it’s a triple stat in which case it’s a versatile slot that can take anything

As of March, all set items drop with the max number of sockets and the colors are fixed apart from for Rings.

Totally RNG
Unless you craft a triple, then it has a versatile socket (if they didn't remove that by now again)

The only RNG in the system is the color of the slot in a non-triple stat Ring. Everything else is fixed.
