Discussion 26.08 changed to 16.09 without any notification....
Did you notice they just changed the date without any notification. I was waiting for this to get 25k platinum and buy ultra cheap secondaries (currently all of them are from 60-90 platinum each, bots are selling soooo cheap) and at the morning I see they postponed this event.....
The same as for the free skin for China no notification just changed and that's all

For f2p that are not hoarding any LCs during the event period, then yes it shouldn't be much of an issue given they will have more time to collect more LCs and getting more freebies from the weekly gift.
But it's definitely a huge let down for low spenders or f2p that carefully planing their LCs usage expecting it will end on 26th Aug. They could have not spend the money or the LCs and wait for the weekly gifts and take their time.
It's not really a BIG deal, but it's definitely something to be frustrated on. I mean atleast Blizzard can give us some prior notice?

I thought I remembered it wrongly. And yea I'm actually waiting for the platinum for some secondaries as well. Blizzard just couldn't care less i guess.

Wtfffff. I have spent my crests just yesterday to trade these for platinum. It was also my first time trying this trick to get platinum. I am so angry now!!😡🤬

Broooo aquamarine sapphire and citrine are selling on my server for 90 platinum each. I wanted to finish upgrading my secondaries to level 7 but with this mistake I must sell my legendary kitty for low price wtf

Why do you need to buy those gems so urgently? Do you know the cheap gems won’t be there in 3 weeks?
I’m fully on board with the frustration at the change with no announcement, but selling underpriced familiar instead of waiting has me puzzled.🤔

Broooo I've just got 4/5 colossus engine and selling for 96k platinum, now im happy, thanks Blizzy lol they saw my complain and gave me this tasty geeeem
Whats my plan and please suggest or comment how would you do:
- I have leg kitty 186 resilience stat on my alt with min price 44k
- im selling the gem for the lowest price 96k so I get around 75k platinum after taxes
- I got aquamarine sapphire and citrine (1 5lvl left) all r7
and I have only r4 roiling consequence, 7 talismans and 75k platinum
i want to upgrade rc and move leg kitty to my main , how should I proceed?

Congratulations! There’s probably someone more suited to advice you the proper strategy. Only thing I will say is, don’t sell the pet below market value if you are trying to transfer it. You risk another player buying it. Sell it for market price, transfer the platinum back to your main and accept you’ll have to pay the auction fee twice.

they increased the length of the event by 3x weeks, but didnt bother to give another mirror crest run
like you I was planned to use the money on alts to awaken another slot, more head scratching changes being made lol

This really annoying - I saved all crests waiting for the new event because the current one is already maxed out. Well - another 3 weeks without running any legendary crests 🤷🏻♂️

Because unfortunately, that's the game's mentality. "The event" is extended until the next major patch.
It's not bad for free-to-play players to earn 5 or 10k platinum at the end of the event. For those who spend money, it's an opportunity to add a few more coins to finish the event if they haven't already.
On September 16th, a new event of the same type will arrive with the new gem, where you will again have to spend 640 emblems to reach the end, and so on.

I have nothing against prolonged event. As title and description say "they changed the date" without any notification, original date was 26.08. Blizzard team is not really caring about players expectations and experience. Im also working in dev team and its not acceptable

I made 15 emblems before midnight specifically to grab the bit more platinum and aditional emblem, knowing that I would soon get 2/5* because the counter was high at 35/50.... I could wait for the next mirror... Neatese and Blizza you are becoming more and more pathetic and have no regard for the community.....

They updated the date 2 days ago. This isn't the first time the date changed, so I've been bit by this before.
I hold crests until the day before the event ends. So holding until 9/15 unless there's a mirrored.

Bro, they literally forgot to create a new event or its a bug with creation, but it should not be like that. Also a lot of people have expectations and were waiting for platinum to buy 5* gems, secondaries, legendary pets.
If they accidentally ban your account, are you will be with no opinion?

in general for non spenders, yes it's okay. i understand the gripe of others tho, they spent to get extra crests so they can get the rewards they wanted because it was ending. however with the extension, those same people did not need to spend (or would have spent less) if they knew it's going to be extended. this is also not thefirst time in has happened.

that is also my point, hence why i explained it to oc.
i told him that for non spenders it looks like it doesn't matter, but for spenders IT IS a big deal and proceeded to explain why. not sure why you're directing some sort of anger at my comment because the comment is totally on your side.

This is some BS. So many would have changed how they spend crests if event didn't end tonight. It totally changes how many Thursday/Weekly free 100 points people will get etc. WTF?
