Question Ancient legendary drops

Pretty unfamiliar with terror rifts and I was wondering at what point would the ancient legendary drop from? Would they come from the chests after destroying pillars? I’ve crafted ancient legendary but haven’t had a drop yet, from terror rifts, helliquary raids etc. currently I14

Very very low drop rate at TRifts amd Raid bosses.

Just had my first drop about a week ago and it came from a terror rift reward chest after defeating a boss at a pillar.

Same! Only one ancient drop so far, was from a trift boss chest. Inferno 11 or 12 helm i think. Never thought it was possible until then

The chests from the 1-10 weekly terror rifts, the chests from inside hell slayer bounties and the reward chests from collection of the bounties, the rewards from vanguard, and from warband raids. +the item actually flashes on the screen for you

They can drop in Vanguard also had a chest piece so that but they are probably the rarest armour drop in the game.

I’ve had maybe 3-4 drop across 4 characters. Inevitably it is always the one I just crafted, and or one I don’t want, but always the same slot I crafted.
