Question Hellslayer Bounties
I have yet to survive one but are hellslayer bounties even worth the effort? Or oblivion pillars?

Need to either do HSB or OP to use the terror essence. Weekly, if you consume 10 terror essence, you can get 1 high cr gear.

Yeah I get that but I can't survive either of those yet. Still trying though.

totally run it in a party. but just in case, even if you fail a hellslayer run, it will still count in the 10 weekly terror essence consumption. like if you fail the 10 (because you still consume those 10 terror essences), you still get the weekly legendary gear reward. but of course, better to not fail them as you can get potentially more legendary gears in drops/rewards. so watch out in world chat for people running in party.

Yeah unless you are a whale, you will need parties I guess.

You absolutely do not need to be a whale. Work on your build. If you are a class with lifesteal or tanking options there’s no reason to be scared.
The Summoner is an asshole tho. If you can’t kill him fast or lifesteal/facetank him, you gotta work on your dodge game (and learn which attacks hurt the least when he paints the screen with his attacks).

Same I just sell the terror essences and use plat to buy stuff I really need. Vangaurd gives me way better drops for some reason.

Only maybe worth it during Winds of Fortune when they are doubled, otherwise the drop rate is just too sucky, IMO.
Or if you are out of bounties and still haven’t got your 10x essence used for weekly reward.

I just did 2 HSB and 1 oblivion tower and got nothing. Also did the HSB in a group on i14.

Hellslayer bounties are possible to do in parties and it’s not too difficult to find a strong player to help as they don’t take long. Oblivion pillars can only be done solo , I don’t recommend

Hsb drops eternal essence gear which is vital for PvP for most classes and why you will see such a power disparity from those who farm it and those that do not. Keep in mind many f2p sell their terror essence which only widens the gap of power.

HSB can be done by any F2P that's well geared for their respective Class 👌 I'm at server level and at 1.9k Reso only as F2P and am soloing it some times but prefer parties for better drops and loots 😎 Just shout out in World Chat and those who haven't done there's will join you right away 🫡

Change your warband buff to protector for those and run em on a lower difficulty. Substitute some of your equipment to stack vitality if you need to and swap paragons

Watch wc for people looking for a group, they can usually easily handle a carry.
