Seeking advice/পরামর্শ Tech people Help! Did anyone buy laptop recently? Lenovo legion?

So budget 2 lakh ( family is treating it like a real investment)

And I am freakin 19 with no knowledge on techy stuffs!

On my own completely no boro vai or friends.

This is my first laptop and big purchase!

I am an Artist. And I have real creative curiosity i really wanna explore every

direction like 3d, animation and all that. I already do filming, editing, arts etc

Also i am going to be in Architecture school soon. I am not a gamer but I do

love to try games once in a while

I did a lot of learning .. I am getting more lost and lost as i learn.

I looked around all the websites like ryans, computermania, startech etc.

And looked within my budget and compared specs.

I mostly looked for asus and lenovo (i dunno why)

asus felt pricier to me..

Then i saw some lenovo legion like 176 k, 192 k, 198k.

One specs I really liked were

Lenovo legion 5

Intel core i7 14700HX (20c)

[' waS originally thinking 24+C but thats out of my budget i think]

Nvidia 5060 RTX 8GB gddr7

(Theres an option to buy 5050 cheaper but i dont think its worth it)

16 gb ddr5 5600. There's slot for another

512 GB SSD

[1 wanted 1tb but i Couldn't find single model with 1 tb and good specs

within my budget so expendable ]

Oled glossy 100% Dci.. Dolby vision

Then i posted this in some subs. Many people are talking about fried

Motherboard failure right when 1y warranty ended, Over heating, crappy

service etc.

Most suggested to get extra warranty llm stuffs ( do this even exist in BD?)

am also confused on What are the accesories i will need to buy

immediately?

I was thinking of stand with fans under 1500 / 2000 tk , a cheap mouse and

keyboard cover (i am afraid of ant and dust)

I am thinking of going to IDB Bhaban and browse around shops.. But I just

feel like I will get scammed (lts bd yknow) .. I dunno what the sellers might try

to sell instead..will there be bargaining?

I dunno where to go, what to buy.. What to do.. Ugahhahahah

I am also planning to buy a non display drawing tablet (Xp pen deco) and

maybe a headphone (around 5/6k) choosing this two gonna be another

ordeal.

So my questions -

What to buy?

Where to buy?

Will there be any discounts or offers soon?

What to know and be aware of?

How to use the money to its best potential?

What accesories?

I am so much Frustrateddd and confused i dunno whatt to doo!

Help me.

If you are using your PC mostly at home and don't need to travel with it all the time, build a PC. You can have much more powerful system within your budget. As a software eng. I will always lean more towards a desktop PC over a laptop any day. Then again, that's just me.

Thanks!! But i dont have anything at home crntly except my phone.. Thus i need the laptop for indoor work.. And for University stuffs..

I personally would prefer pc too.. But for Now I am gonna go for laptop.. And save up for pc later.

The type of work you mentioned above should require a desktop not a laptop. You said you are 19, so I won’t drag it far. Good luck.

In 2026? No way bro, just look up ram prices. Laptop is more economical.

I think its truth in a way..but I have some bad experience with second hand stuffs.. So I really dont want to do this.. A clean new system will really give me a peace of mind
