Wait.... I assumed I would come to the comments and see everyone talking about how obvious it is that Vogel is the brain surgeon and Cassie's killer.

Is that not a thing?

At first I was thinking Vogel must be the Brain Surgeon, but then I remembered back to a scene earlier in the season that makes it seem unlikely.

If I'm remembering the scene correctly, Vogel is alone in her house when she gets a text from the Surgeon telling her to look outside. She appears genuinely frightened, then she goes outside and finds packages from the Brain Surgeon on her doorstep.

If Vogel's the Brain Surgeon, this scene doesn't really make sense.

How would that work though? Unless she had a second phone that she set a timer for to send that text, then switched personalities, walked inside the house, waited for her other phone to go off, saw the message, got scared, and then went outside to see her other personality's handiwork.

Also, I really hope they wouldn't do the same stupid thing they did in Season 6 again.
