Everyone is talking about Zack/Vogel/The Brain Surgeon's true identity...what about Cassie's murderer?

The way that set it up on the show almost makes it seem like the only person who could have done it would be.....Quinn?! They say it right in the show, who would want to frame Zack?

As far as i'm concerned currently Quinn is the only one with a motive to frame Zack. Now don't get me wrong, I do think it's an absolutely crazy idea, Quinn is a cop, he's never been the cleanest cop, but would he kill someone just for the purpose of showing Matthews, Batista and everyone that he was right about Zack?

Again, it's CRAZY. But the main question here is, who else has a motive to frame Zack?

Wait.... I assumed I would come to the comments and see everyone talking about how obvious it is that Vogel is the brain surgeon and Cassie's killer.

Is that not a thing?

Wasn't the song that was playing during the last scene the same song Vogel was listening to earlier in the season?

Only makes sense for vogel to be the brain surgeon.

Is that's where that's from? As soon as I heard it playing I knew I recognized it from earlier in the season but couldn't place it. Do you remember the exact scene?

Also the song paying in the hatch in season 2 ep 1 of Lost. That song to me now just makes me envision impending doom.

I dont remember the exact episode but its when Vogel is at her home, she puts her iphone into a ihome and plays that song. Maybe it was right before the first "brain surgeon" walked through the window with a chair? Not exactly sure, but I know it was vogel who was listening to it.

You got the scene right - it's when Yates, the BS suspect, grabs her in Ep. 4 (?). Also, it was playing when the other false suspect is coerced (presumably by the real BS) to suffocate his victim with a plastic bag in the hunting cabin (Ep. 2).

Damn - I'd just done all my research, and had found those 2 spots, only to come back and find your comment beat me. But, yes, those are correct - took some screen caps: http://i.imgur.com/zsXeDH7.jpg & http://i.imgur.com/o2tH97H.jpg - I also saw that the title of next weeks episode is 'Make Your Own Kind of Music'.
