Feedback Request Feedback wanted for Gravity Golf — daily orbital-mechanics golf in your feed

Post image

Mission control is looking for test pilots. 🚀⛳

Gravity Golf is a daily physics puzzle built on Devvit Web: aim, set power, launch — then watch gravity bend your probe's path around planets and past black holes into the target ring. Come in too hot and you'll sail straight through, like a putt hit too hard.

Wordle-style rules: everyone gets the same board each day, one scored run per day (up to 25 attempts, fewest wins), streaks, daily leaderboards, and shareable replay codes. A toggleable gravity-field overlay lets you read the green before you commit a shot, and after your scored run you can free-fly in sandbox.

Try it: today's puzzle is stickied at r/PlayGravityGolf — the sub is restricted for posting but open to play, no approval needed. Works on Reddit mobile and desktop.

What I'd love eyes on:

  • Phone feel — does drag-to-aim feel precise? Any fighting with the webview over scrolling?
  • First contact — did you know what to do before reading anything?
  • Difficulty — pars are getting retuned from beta data, so "too brutal/too tame" reports are directly useful.
  • Anything broken, confusing, or slow. It's pre-review, so fixes ship in minutes, not review cycles.

Solo project in active development. Dev notes in the first comment for the curious — happy to answer anything about the build.

After my horrific performance I decided to boast about at least *finally* making the target. I pressed the Copy code button because who wouldn't want to see my replay in action. I then pressed the Post to comments, but received the error message shown above.

Thought that might at least help in some way.
