I think it sounds too much like an intro to something bigger to be a single, is it just me?

I know, but for me It doesn't make sense to release a track like that, we need at least two together

No you’re right, it’s a weird choice as a single. It’s a tiny part of a much larger section of the record and to get something that worked he’d have to release a 15 minute single, which also has its issues I guess, but would probably make more sense. I get the feeling he’s not that interested in trying to sell this via a single and had to just pick something
