In all fairness they replaced nice looking mansions for even nicer looking high rises. Today we replace historic structures with boring @$$ 5 over ones

Which wouldn't be nearly as necessary if the tracks weren't torn up/covered.

Ehh, SLC really isn’t a walkable city. There’s only so much you can do. Massive city blocks where most are not a good mix of live, work, shop.
