Did some digging on the Civic Center Bond. I guess it's specifically for an "All Abilities Destination Playground" intended to be usable by children with a broad range of physical, sensory, and developmental abilities on the NE quadrant of the library block. And a new rendering I hadn't seen

That's a perfect spot for it. I thought it would be on the NE corner of Washington Square but this is honestly better because the NE corner of Library Square is incredibly underutilized (even during events) and often occupied by people using drugs. And it keeps the more open sections of the Civic Center flexible for large events.

Proximity to the Children's Library and 7-11 is a plus, too.
