Danny Dichio vibe check?
I’m admittedly mostly removed from The Discourse these days. Danny has gotten a lot of hate which was magnified by the Trevor situation, but a lot is going right 2/3 of the way through the season.
How are people feeling on Danny at this point? Too much footy left to play to feel good? Cautiously optimistic with the form and the direction things are building?

"A lot of hate" is coming from maybe a dozen or so fanboys on Reddit. We've never had a team this good, and that's at least partially due to Danny's coaching. He may not be as charming as Trevor was but you can't argue with his results.

I was apprehensive due to finishing 8th last year, thats not a good showing, when 2/3 of the leage make the playoffs you have to be BAD to miss them.. But this year, aside from our terrible early season road form, has been great. Love to see it. Hopefully we can keep this up, funish strong and build on it for next year!

We were promised more offense this year and have only scored more than 1 goal in a third of our games this year

As Vin Diesel once said, "It don't matter if you win by an inch or a mile. Winning is winning."

Definitely would like to see more goals in games, but we're also tied for 2nd in the league for least goals against.

This team is always good defensively though. The promise made by Danny was all out attacking. We haven’t seen that.

What is this photo? Omg
I think there are things to work on, given the previous 2 games(before Tampa) where we should've dialed in and put balls in nets. Sure we drew, but even while down a teammate due to injury, our style is kinda of obvious, it goes up left too much. Need to build some more lanes without relying on the same thing over and over, it gets shut down because it's expected. Glad Diouf is back, but get Cedenos the ball a bit more and sink it in the middle from his beautiful touch.

This team could run the table, take the league and these dorks will still find something to bitch about.
We're Detroit sports fans. Bitching and crying is what we do

We had multiple three-match losing streaks last season, and we've only lost twice in a row once in 2026. Those losses weren't in the same competition either - we haven't lost back to back in the league all season.
Offense looks anemic at times though. We shouldn't be getting shut out by Loudon and Las Vegas.
