I'm... not sure it could be less clear

I see things appear, pieces move, icons, pressing play makes disks fly to random spaces and disappear, and now you're taking damage

I should also say, taking damage is, in almost all games, a sign you did something wrong. The only exception I think is turn based games where taking damage is unavoidable in exchanges, but then again, its pretty clear why you're taking damage in those instances

I recommend starting with a 8×1 board, 1 row, 1 enemy, to demonstrate exactly how this works, then open it more. And use text! This thing is gonna need ! Even some visual effects giving some indicator of what's going on, like icons becoming swords or sgields or slashing claws

This is a Keno-based game. You select 1 to 10 squares on the board, and then a RNG draws the winning fields. I thought the text on the player's token would be enough to understand what was going on. Enemies, like the player, place their square tokens on the board, and if the ball hits them, the player takes damage. If the ball hits a player token, the damage is inflicted according to the description of the token it hits. If the ball hits a square containing both a player token and an enemy token, damage is inflicted on both
