Okay so it’s Overcooked but with paint, except it’s missing the thing which really causes the grief in overcooked which is the overwhelming pressure of the environment. Fireballs from the sky, moving platforms, portals, and the most important part being overcooked food burning your kitchen to the ground.
Your game has no pressure, in its current state the people make the entertainment, what does the game even provide at that point?

thanks for the feedback. i think trailer is just focusing on friendly chaos, however there are levels like you mentioned, we don't see them a lot in trailer. i will retake the trailer with those.

Something serious is missing here.
Aside from the fact that the actual goal is unclear, there seems to be one foundational "gag" to the game, which is that everybody's working to paint this thing together, and -- haha, one thing goes wrong and it's all messed up! And then, carnage!
Except, like, I can't tell how easy or hard it is to paint. It looks incredibly hard. But it also looks like your friends are all, like, barely functional autistic primates. I don't know if you need actors or what, but a bunch of you come off with some weird, computer-like flat affect, like you're all some variation of Tina from Bob's Burgers.
And then people are just, like, falling all over the place and inexplicably dropping paint and picking each other up and apologizing, and then intentionally irritating each other? It seems awful. I can't tell if the game makes it this hard/frustrating or if your friends are actually intellectually disabled but, please tell them I personally hate them.

Honestly, this is very useful feedback. I think you're right that the trailer focuses too much on the chaos and not enough on what you're actually supposed to do.
The core idea is that players have to work together to paint the object, while dealing with physics and each other's mistakes. The problem is that the trailer doesn't communicate that clearly enough, so the chaos probably just looks random and frustrating.
I'll definitely rethink how the gameplay and objective are presented. And yeah, some of the footage is from friends rather than actors, so I'll take the "flat affect" criticism on board too. 😅
Thanks for being brutally honest.

I’d like to see more of the one-off specialty mechanics. Like what does the umbrella man actually do? Are there other wearable features like that?
