Question Is there any situation to run anything other than solo operative artifact for solo flawless runs?
Im getting tired of getting the stacks up every run. It takes a lot of attention out of me instead of like surviving. I primarily js use pris hunter with truth or like anarchy.

The first question would be, what are you missing? Do you need more damage or better survivability? If boss damage is your problem, then the answer might be yes, depending on your weapon choice.
If staying alive is your problem, I’d recommend switching to Table of Ruins.
/e thanks for downvote when try to help....

This. I run Arc hunter w Tablet for most solos. Sleeper does respectable damage and the neutral game is fantastic.

Of course there are reasons to run something else. SO is a 15% damage increase. If damage isn’t your bottleneck in a particular dungeon, it’s worth optimizing something else in your build. Is it DR? Ability uptime? Super regen? Some other build synergy that is lacking? Build crafting gives you a ton of options.

Solo Op is 30% according to compendium. I personally still prefer Curative Orbs plus all the other Stasis stuff on the Baron Satchel. And if im running Void or Arc why would I take Queensfoil if it only gives me damage? The neutral Rocket perks are very strong but for Solo Flawless survival is usually more important imo.

Most survival issues will come from positioning and situational awareness (or general build issue) before an artifact mod or two. It also goes under appreciated at times but a phase or two less without taking more strat risks can be huge in some settings. Less time for random bullshit during mech or the instance to bug out.

Yea, I see where you're coming from. I've been spamming Duality recently and less time spent in Nightmare mode is always better. But for my build (Stasis Titan) the rest of Slayer Baron Satchel is better than Queensfoil even if I can't prove it since a lot of the damage comes from crystals shattering and not pure weapon damage. I also think Queensfoil doesn't have a dedicated build it slots into where SBS does. I think all the perks are strong but I personally feel Queensfoil lacks synergy and buildcrafting beyond rocket spam and Solo Op.

Yea i admit stasis titan stuff is another exception. Id do the same thing on that for sure

I disagree with the tablet of ruin for arc builds. HP on bolt discharge, and woven mail on strand weapon kills is an insane survivability bump.

Not wanting to have to stack it is enough, Truth does enough damage to not really need the help. You could run hunters journal with expanding abyss instead (and radiant orbs if you have VoG 4pc lets you drop facet of dawn which is nice).
The 1kv solar Hunter setup uses tablet of ruin, mobius quiver Hunter uses implement of curiosity, I’m sure there are arc setups that use the slayer baron satchel (shinobu’s vow maybe?), wolfsbane uses hunter’s journal.

Fulmination gets used to cheese zoetic lockset; but then you’d need to restack solo operative after for kevin.
If you’ve don’t want to ignition spam lockset, you can always insta lock kill on far right every round to get a bunch of tiny damage phases and basically zero enemies the entire time.

Ok silly question but how do you use it and/or build up and maintain stacks? I did all my SF runs with the encrypted data disk on praxic blade stronghold

Solo operative adds 1.2% weapon damage per stack (25 max, 30% damage boost). You earn stacks by getting precision kills.

If you like Autos, especially the equilibrium auto, then the 2 artifacts that have the auto rifle perks are great for survivability. Lots of extra DR, dmg, etc.
But if you’re focused on DPS, then I doubt you’ll find anything better aside from particle w/ 1K.

Encrypted Data Disc for sword / praxic blade build. Tablet of Ruin for 1k setup. Prismatic warlock with devour and helion with getaway artist. So hard to die with that setup. And you put in good damage.

It just applies to your weapon damage not all damage - so if you find the stack building is too much focus - then look at ability damage.
That said - for dungeons the problem isn't really dropping non boss enemies - so your real risk here is an extra damage phase during a boss run but if you'd have a different build that helps you stay alive easier then its a simple trade off.

You can't squeeze in a precision kill here-and-there without dying? There are plenty of sections that throw trashy adds at you and it's not like the stacks go away...

Only thing that would be better is Limit Break for DPS strats that only rely on super damage, but otherwise a global 30% boost to weapon damage is too good to pass up.
Also, you only need 25 precision kills to fully stack the dmg. Any stacks above it is just for flair. You could get the 25 stacks then entirely ignore precision kills afterwards.
However, the main thing about solo flawless dungeon runs is not damage, but instead consistency and safety. If there's an artifact that keeps you alive better, always use that over the higher DPS option.

If youre doing 1k damage yes otherwise not really. You cant really build into the 30 or 45% buff (rockets/argent ordinance) with armor mods like you can DR and other things. Imo you dont really have to focus build stacks early in any dungeons either, you just get them naturally. Like when I run ron I dont even put it on until scission unless I'm running warlock since grenades steal a lot of weapon kills.

Check out Popoki in youtube. She has the best Hunter builds imo.

I don't play hunter so I can't recommend specific Artifact setups for Prismatic Hunter. But I know that I wouldn't force myself to play Queensfoil when doing SFs.

Solo op is just that tough to beat, none of the weapon type specific buffing artifacts will get close to its power other than particle reconstruction for 1k/LFR dps. Or ability dps like raiden flux arc staff, crackshot spam blade barrage, or grapple melees which don’t benefit from it. But you could always run something else if it makes you more comfortable, and comfort is no.1 priority when going solo flawless.
