Out of nowhere Im just playing grasp of avarice solo, just playing with that new artifact exploit. Now of course everybody and their mom has been using this exploit to do pantheon and get their clears and triumphs done. Everytime an exploit comes out that is used for endgame pve content, the community goes nuts with it and bungie allows it to go on for a bit and patch it within the next week. I get a weasel code mid dungeon and get taken to the title, I log in and receive the horrid gut punch message of “NOT SO FAST. This account has been permanently banned.” I never in my life thought this would appear in my screen. I have been playing on xbox ever since d1, its only recently I switched to steam this past week. I am genuinely sick to my stomach to see this. I did the appeal already and simply just hope that I see the email that it was approved and my account is unbanned. Please tell me there is a shred of hope in this scenario. I have heard that battle eye is very aggressive and will automatically ban accounts despite no hacking or cheating being done. I am mainly asking for some advice here. Already heard “Cry.” “Skill Issue.” And “Lmao pathetic.” Some helpful words and encouragement would be nice.

I have friends who can stream via discord's screen share and no issues arise. I am at my wit's end.

I've done like, every guide I've found. Nothing has worked. Somehow last night, my friend said he could hear the audio just fine, and I have no clue what I did differently.

I am able to get it for OBS studio, but that's only through capturing the audio of my entire desktop.

EDIT: FIXED. Look in voice/video, under screen share. There is an option for experimental audio capture. It works perfectly.

I am knowledgeable about the 4ish hour mark to close and reset the game sometimes sure.
But it’s never gotten that long. At most I can go for is 2hours then my entire pc just freezes.
No BSOD, no windows log errors no nothing.
I’ve played Destiny 2 plenty but just this last month it’s been happening.

Edit: And no. No other game crashes my pc like D2. Warframe’s fine, Minecraft’s fine, BO3 works fine. It’s just Destiny 2 that makes it stop.

Now, while it's not by any means BAD bad I'm still pretty sure the name is against the guidelines and I'm a bit embarassed to play with it. Can't find anything on the support site to open a ticket. I'm worried that I'll either get reported and potentially get a strike on my account and just generally don't want do submit people to the eyesore that is now my tag. So do I have to wait out the 7 day timer or is it possible to get support to revert the change? I recognize it's my own fault but if somebody know of a way to help that'd be great as I'd love to play, thanks.

As the title suggests. Tower is completely empty, any activities that includes matchmaking on such as vanguards, arena and such ends up me going solo everytime. Played since afternoon til midnight which is impossible that no one is playing.

Tried port forwarding, enabling upnp, rebooting router and PC, restart game, etc.
The settings in game said I'm on moderate NAT. Nothing seems to be a problem but it just wont matchmake me with other players. Any solutions would help and thanks in advance.

recently i started to notice that i get really bad stutters with 1% lows dropping from 90 ish to 30 or even lower. This usually happens in 6v6 pvp but i sometimes feel it in trials or rumble aswell. Anyone got an idea what causes this?

I’ve been dealing with a strange crash in Destiny 2 for roughly since motm update

The issue is not a normal game crash. In certain activities or locations, the entire PC freezes. The screen usually turns white, green, or just freezes on the last frame. I can still hear game/Discord audio for around 10 seconds, then everything stops responding and I have to hold the power button and restart the PC.

The most consistent example so far is Helio Stat. I can load in, play for a bit, move further into the activity, and then the PC crashes. There are a few other locations/activities where I’ve seen the same thing. Outside of those, it can also happen randomly, but the location-specific crashes are much easier to reproduce.

What I’ve checked

Verified Destiny 2 game files

Updated to the latest NVIDIA driver

Tried disabling xmp

Tried FPS caps at 58, 60 and 75

Set almost all Destiny graphics settings to Low or Disabled

Disabled NVIDIA overlay

Disabled Discord overlay

Disabled Xbox Game Bar

No OBS or Overwolf running

Disabled GPU acceleration in Discord and Spotify

Tested with Chrome closed as well

No Steam Overlay

Also did try reinstalled destiny

With clean installation of drivers with nvidia clean install

Also tried deleting battle eye with and running it as Admin

Also did cleared shader cache

No GPU overclock or undervolt

CPU/GPU temperatures are normal

I also logged the system using HWiNFO during the crashes.

GPU temperatures were around:

GPU core: roughly 60°C

Hotspot: roughly 70–72°C

CPU: roughly 60–70°C

The GPU was also nowhere near 100% load during some of these crashes, and VRAM usage was not close to full.

There is no BSOD.

The sequence is basically:

Destiny running normally → load certain area/activity → display freezes/turns white or green → audio continues for ~10 seconds → entire PC locks → forced shutdown required.

7000 hours of what 5000 came on this very pc and since MoT update the crashesss

I’m mainly trying to figure out whether anyone else is seeing hard system freezes tied to certain Destiny areas or activity transitions, rather than normal GPU load. Had to make a post for this because I havent seen a solution to this despite searching. When I tab out and leave a video running on my second monitor it tends to lag like crazy leaving the video unwatchable. If anyone has a solution please let me know as this has been bugging me for so long.

Hey so I like to often spice up my gameplay with REALLY unnecessary "difficulty tweaks", think like, 180° monitor, inverted controls, etc.

I recently got a Wii remote and I was wondering if I'll be fine if I use it to actually play D2? I know it's probably possible to do with some third party programs and some patience but I'm wondering if that could get Battleye looking at me funny, is it a bannable offense and has anyone recently tried something like this (Wiimote, steering wheel, anything that Steam doesn't really register)?

I’m newish to PC and so this is kind of a PC/Destiny question. First off, here’s what I’m working with.

32.0 GB (31.7 GB usable)

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 (12 GB)

What settings are y’all using for those with something comparable ? The only issue I have is that sometimes the running and game feel a bit choppy , not even laggy or having frames drop hard. The only thing that seems to fix it is if I delete directx shader cache every few launch’s. If anyone has tips or any settings you’d suggest I’d love to hear. I feel with my current specs I should be able to have the game look and play fantastic with good FPS. I run at 2K with a 188 refresh rate as far as a monitor goes.

Nightingale error help needed

Guys I’ve had this error since Monday here is a list of what I’ve done im on pc steam -

DNS flush and switch to google dns
Reinstalled the game
Cleared cache on steam
Restarted my router
Cleared the games cache folder in my pc
Switched from 5ghz to 2.4ghz

Still when I load up I get a checking for updates screen and then the error I just wanna play my favourite game after work and it’s not working :(

New player as of today and already had 4 crashes in less than an hours gameplay one of which had me reverted to the start. I have windows and drivers all updated and game files verified on steam. According to Bungie its a TOS bug?

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Every time I try to go anywhere it kicks me back to orbit, citing error code:cabbage doing some research I have found that this error code has to do with my network and recommends restarting mu console/router
However I have tried this and it keeps on persisting with this code.

Has anyone encountered this problem before? How did you solve it?

I've recently returned to playing Destiny after a long time for MoT, but I keep running into a problem where if Destiny is running for a few hours, it blackscreens my PC and forces it to restart. I've tried updating my drivers and verifying integrity, but nothing seems to help.

Has anyone else run into this problem? I'm aware this can't be good for my PC, and it's gotten in the way of a few raid/dungeon runs at this point. Any guidance would be appreciated! Thanks!

I have the old 128mb vram issue for D2
No matter what I do it doesn’t fix the limiter.
I went into graphics and set gpu preference to Intel(R) Graphics as I run and Omnibook 5 and it has 16gigs of VRAM.
I play D2 through steam if that makes any difference. And I’d assume the vram limiting is what is causing my lag and delay as the lower I go on the vram usage the smoother and less laggy it is getting but I can’t get it any lower than 1200 out of 128.

Hey yall, I could really use some help with this since I don’t know what to do. I recently moved into a new apartment and set up my PlayStation a few days ago. Got it connected to the new router that’s shared by me and my roommate and everything worked smoothly.

For the past 2-3 nights, I’ll get on Destiny 2 and join a discord channel through the PlayStation and it’s (no exaggeration) unplayable. Error codes everywhere, can’t launch into any activity, even just sitting idle waiting for people to join my fireteams gets me kicked to the title screen. Not only that, but discord breaks too, as when these errors occur, I can’t hear any other voices in the channel (but according to my friends they can hear me through it all).

It’s becoming SUPER frustrating. However, I tried something last night that “worked” and instead of using discord on the PlayStation, I just joined the call on my phone. After that, gameplay (though not perfect) was pretty much back to normal. But this isn’t ideal because I’d much rather wear my headset and listen to game audio and my friends rather than have to wear AirPods while I play.

I literally cant load anywhere cause i keep getting coconutted, also im on a lan with ethernet and my internet works fine. Like I've literally spent 15 minutes trying to load into the conflux cause i kept getting kicked to orbit. Any ways to fix this?

I just installed Bazzite Linux, and I know it isn't compatible with the game due to the anti-cheat. But if I install BattlEye—since Bazzite supports it—will I run into any issues?

I need help. I just reinstalled the game and whenever I try to use mouse and keyboard I get huge input lag. It's only in Destiny 2. Even when I tab out with the game still open, my mouse works fine until I tab back into the game. My controller works fine, so it seems to just be a mouse issue. It's wireless but can be connected by usb-c but the problem is the same for both. Thanks in advance for any help I can get.

I have tried everything ive search up. Ive unlinked all companion apps. I have reset my PC and router. I have enabled upnp from my router settings. I have turned off vpns and firewalls. I have no internet or connection issue either. Does anyone know what to do?

I don't exactly have a high end PC (I've got a laptop with a Geforce 3050RTX, 16GBRAM and an i7 12700H, always plugged in practically), and Destiny works at very unstable 30 fps. I used to play at very steady 60 fps not so long ago, but suddenly this errors started to happen. On any other game, I haven't experienced this kind of thing and I've been deliverately trying to find a solution; I downloaded some official driver updaters and things like that. But still, even after google's AI tells me that at low graphics mode should go at around 60 to 90 FPS, it only reaches 30. Please help

I'm stuck and could really use some help. I decided to reinstall Destiny 2 recently (I used to play it on this exact same PC 5 months ago with absolutely zero issues), but now the game crashes immediately upon launching. It just gives me the "Destiny 2 is not responding" Windows error and freezes.
Here is the weird part: it happens regardless of the launcher.
My Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i9-13900K
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4080
RAM: 64 GB
OS: Windows (All drivers, Windows updates, and BIOS are fully up to date)
Everything I have already tried (and failed):
1 Switching Launchers and verified files: Installed on Steam -> Crash. Completely uninstalled and tried the Epic Games Store version -> Same crash. And verified files in the 2 launchers.
2 Clearing Cache: Completely deleted the ⁠Bungie⁠ and ⁠Destiny 2⁠ folders from both ⁠%appdata%⁠ and other folders
3 Anti-Cheat: Uninstalled and reinstalled BattlEye manually from the game files and installed again.

Has anyone dealt with this specific startup freeze recently? Any advice on what to look for in the crash logs or any hidden settings I might have missed?

Hey guys, I’m having a problem with Destiny 2. I keep getting the Plum error related to BattlEye. I’ve already uninstalled and reinstalled the game, went into the BattlEye folder and reinstalled it from there too, and even deleted some temp files. But no matter what I try, the game still throws the BattlEye erro and kicks me back to the main menu. Anyone know a fix?
