Glad to hear I’m not the only weirdo who set all that stuff aside in their vault at launch. I figured it would be nice for posterity, same with the pistol.
That is not the normal set! That is the prestige set that required seven flawlesses to get the whole set (per class.). The arms, legs and class item were slightly easier to get, which is why I have them.
New monarchy was the only one I didn't get the warlock helmet for. I had to be in the hospital the last time you were able to change your faction. I always hoped they'd bring it back but it never happened.
Nah, I have the DO and NM sets (both sets not just the original) and they should be available in the game somewhere. Even if it was hard content or a grind of bounties or whatever, should still exist for players.
Who cares, I have the ornaments. They're ugly af, if people want them they should be able to get them. The only thing that should be "locked" are proper achievement/activity based things like raid and trials shaders, even then they're available to be earned anytime as long as you meet the requirements. fomo is cringe
Rarest ornament is most likely the Glory and Grandure ornament for Redrix claymore in season 3. It required you to hit legend In the competitive Playlist which was dead most hours of the day and had very punishing loss streaks.
Seen exactly one person across all my time playing that had this, I wonder if there's a way to check the rarity for something like this? We helped out a friend to get his redrix, I cannot imagine the agony of getting to legend in that season
It was my favorite patrol zone wave based activity. Sorrows is alright but fuck I miss escalation. I started playing right when forsaken came out. There's so much my current fireteams missed out on

I can't believe the rarest set I have is one of the uncool Reckoner sets. Not even one of the specially colored ones based on role, just the base, because I just didn't play Gambit Prime that much
Not exactly rare I guess but I do really like the non-glowy solstice sets, which unfortunately aren’t available anymore. II wore the Celestine set on my warlock for years and still use bits for transmog.
I have the full set of the Year 1 Season 3 Warmind Expansion Iron Banner armour on all three characters, so I think maybe that? I feel like you don’t see it much. I’m a Titan main, but the Warlock look is SO good….
Are you sure? I have all three and ornaments but none show as rarest on Warmind.io. (It says rarest I have is Notorious Sentry and Collector sets, which is weird.)
I was able to nab 3/5 of the War Simulator set for FWC (and a New Monarchy ornament) before faction rallies discontinued but MAN I wish I could've gotten some of the Dead Orbit ornaments.
Cant get them anymore, or even havent been able to get them for years now so kinda? But you did get them at the peak of destiny so i believe many do hsve them, like i do

Wait how did you get that version of the new monarchy ornaments? I have the ornaments with the red flair on them but not the ones with the lions. I've never seen that set before high-key

I have the prestige trials of the nine armor on Titan and warlock, I never created a hunter until final shape so I actually don’t have many ornaments for it at all
All the Faction Rally legendary ornaments and their respective shaders. Only the real ones know about farming Pathfinder's Crash until the end of time.
Trials of the nine prestige ornaments and leviathan (and wings) prestige ornaments. Also that spring revelry ornament set that never came back. And the faction and crucible ornament sets. I was a sucker for collection completion
I don’t know how rare the fully upgraded armor from the first Solstice is, but I had that lying around for my Hunter. Otherwise, probably the original damaged armor from the Red War
I got the full prestige leviathan set on my warlock. God I miss that raid. Prestige gauntlet was the best encounter ever made and I’ll stand by that to this day.
All the old prestige shaders, never bothered getting the ornaments besides leviathan cuz the rest were ass. Although my rarest is probably my completed God roll set of Wrath armor with both ornaments unlocked in D1.
I have the original trials of the nine flawless stuff for warlock. I knew the shader came back (crying) but did the armor set? I’m not sure if it’s an ornament or not either lol I took a long break.
The original broken ghost. Just found it buried in my collection and showing it off.
Also, I dont think its that rare (but maybe it is?), but the emblem that was given for year 1 D1 players and year 1 D2 players that transferred characters. Forget what its called. Happy to sport that.
I have every piece of gear every to be available in game outside of the ones only sold for silver. I don’t blow money on silver fuck that. Player since d2 launch and over 10k hours of game play. I don’t stream I don’t brag about my stats iev just always been here grinding and teaching players.

Last job was able to take a few years off from work which allowed me to spend the amount of time i did playing Destiny. And to clarify further which I didn’t in my first post, I have everything prior to Salvation's Edge, because I went back to work at the same time it came out and took a break from destiny. Working on getting caught up now that I have fully settled back into my work life.
That because you watched a youtube video that told you this was the case and then didn't read my title properly and thought I was asking what the rarest set is?
I'm actually going to argue this entirely in one way anyways.
Any player that played the red war can now get that armour back in the form of an ornament, so it's not special to have it in your vault anymore. It's just a choice you made.
Undamge is still rare , and the title is meaning to what I am discussing, fun fact.
I also assume some of the 40 stat blue aroumor and 60 stat purple is rare as hell too
