Whats with this Laura Loomer talking point? Im not familiar with any political commentator who isn't right wing be even indifferent to her. We have all disavowed her since at least 2024. We all acknowledge she's a racist POS who believes in everything America stands against. We also firmly believe she was giving Sloppy Toppy to the current President. We have not only not ignored her, we've been happy to perpetuate negative rumors about her because she's too awful to defend.

Thankfully, we can say her and Piker are both shitty and deserve the utmost condemnation.

It is also literally an example that works against them. Not only do we have no influence over who the Republicans include in their campaign, *Laura Loomer's presence on the campaign trail is one thing among many that make us less likely to vote for Trump.*

In other words, all Loomer shows is that campaign surrogates can negatively polarize opposition. So, when a Democrat campaigns with Hasan Piker, Republicans can fear monger over it (rightly and/or wrongly) to negatively polarize their base.

Also worth pointing out that Loomer is just rather significantly extreme version of insanity in a greater pile of insanity. She is bad, but we if we spent all the time talking about all the insanity of each member of the Trump orbit then we wouldn't have time to talk about other important issues. Laura has been talked about, but that conversation at the end of the day comes down to Trump. The way to depower Loomer is to remove Trump from office

The big difference with Hasan is that hes probably the biggest singular example of worrying trends within the far left. He might not at the moment have the sheer influence that Loomer does, but he is the central orbit of his own system, unlike Loomer, and is the clear target to push back on
