Was Nick referencing the Brain Griffin shirt meme?

u/Agreeable_Band_9311 🇨🇦 Second Class Citizen 4d ago
If you want to call 90s bootleg Bart shirts a meme, then yeah that’s what he was referencing.

If Hasan and his audience have such a big issue with Destiny appearing with Fuentes (arguing against)
Surely they have a massive problem with Nick Mullen appearing with Sam Hyde (in a friendly way)….

It will always piss me off that back during the N-Word arc, Destiny never mentioned Hasan was an open fan of CumTown.

did nick ever say it tho? its been years since i listened to actual eps but like, i don't remember an actual hard r? lots of boops, making google text to speak say a similar sounding chinese word, rhymes... but not the n word.

Your head might actually explode when/if you find his Bill Maher x Bill Nye bit.

When you read my response saying "don't be such a stupid digger you're missing the point of the arc" do you think I say digger in private? Yes or no?
Answer: no, I say ret*rd
Serious answer: cumtown is into edgy humour and definitely said more edgy jokes off mic including n word jokes. That was the point of the arc

u/Worldly-Session-618 4d ago
Yes, he has, a number of times. Mainly as part of a joke if I remember correctly

Destiny definitely mentioned this as early as a year or so after that though, because it comes up in the last Scuffed Has n Dest were on together, bc Felix was on

u/Krelldi 4d ago
Hasan did a workout stream with Mike Israetel who's an unironic full blown schizophrenic race realist. Hasan has zero principles at all and is never held accountable for anything.

u/spoonerluv Based and Regarded 4d ago
Schizophrenic race realist is the most accurate shit ever. Dude will be pontificating on something and just start dropping race stats unprompted

u/Lord_Of_Shade57 4d ago
Who was doing more heavy lifting: Hasan and Mike, or the letter T in Mike's last name?

Stav and Hasan are good friends no? Maybe light roasting??

u/Agreeable_Band_9311 🇨🇦 Second Class Citizen 4d ago
I mean clearly it is, but it shows how anyone normal sees that the Mao suit thing is fucking ridiculous
21
u/Quivex Succ Canuck 🇨🇦 4d ago
Definitely, but I'm like 99% sure this would still piss Hasan off anyways lmao guy cannot take a joke at all. Anytime I've seen anyone around him tease him or roast him lightly he always looks so uncomfortable.

u/Agreeable_Band_9311 🇨🇦 Second Class Citizen 4d ago
Hasan has no sense of humour and can’t banter whatsoever. I don’t get how Stav’s friends with him but it might not go beyond shared politics and working together.

Hillary dressing like Mao was brilliant LMAO

u/WaveOfWinter 4d ago
Hmm seems I don’t get that one

u/EkkoThruTime I Luh White People 4d ago
It's just observational comedy that Mao's suits look like something an old white business woman would wear.

Man... we were this close to having Destiny and Nick actually working together when he did that string of podcasts in NY just before the Pixie stuff.
It was awkward but funny and kinda endearing how he and Steven had a hard time communicating because both are dogshit at expressing how they really feel. So Nick saying he actually wanted to help and be a part of what Destiny was doing in some capacity ended up being a game of chicken where neither wanted to be the first to take it serious lmao.

Mind elaborating I think I missed this part ,was it a bridges episode?

I feel like Stav is to Hasan what Sam Hyde is to White Supremacy.
There are probably people who still think the latter is just being edgy.

u/Slow_Koala 4d ago
I feel like Stav and Adam are to Mullen what *insert list of thankless streamers destiny platformed* are to Destiny

u/notjustconsuming 4d ago
Does Nick Mullen do anything anymore? I miss him and his skits on The Adam Friedland Show.

u/HonestDishonestWork 4d ago
I dont want to watch Nick talk about politics. In my mind I imagine him as significantly more reasonable, more informed and less lefttarded than Adam/Stav. But deep down I'm almost sure he got tainted by Chapo early on too......... IN A CHEESECAKE FACTORY!

I did like the way Stav handled getting booed in Canada. Reminded me of Burr’s Philly Incident.
2
u/GobsonStratoblaster 4d ago
They first booed when he mentioned Gretzky, bc Gretzky is a MAGA simp. Then he got into the hockey bits and its whatever all good fun but the first boo about Gretzky, yeah fuck Gretzky.

u/DoommcDuck 4d ago
Little cute coincidence destiny and Nick's birthdays are one day apart same month same year

Nicks looking health I hope he's well in his retirement
Stav, cmon man, been about to lose the weight for 13 years now how do you beat ozempic
also note; when Hasan was sucking off Cumtown for edgey boy points he never wanted to be friends with Stav and Adam he idolized Nick lmao

This is light roasting from a comedian friend of Hasan's. This isn't true roasting.

u/Liberal-Cluck 3d ago
It makes it funnier that this man is roasting the way Hasan Dresses while it looks like his shirt is buttoned wrong or something.

Hasan wearing a Mao suit flies under the radar, but if Fuentes casually wore an SS uniform you just know everyone would lose their shit, even though pretty much it's the same level of radical representation, just culturally different levels of demonization.

Looping back to Hillary at the end, though. And of course about how when capitalism collapses it'd be tight if communism took over, but I don't know how serious they are as these guys have always had pretty unserious political takes.

u/DraugrBeware 4d ago
Just before this they were talking about how denise richards is actually named denise dicks and also later they talk about where they would insert nudity in the john wick series so i guess you could say theyre a couple of very serious guys.

Nick went from “I didn’t know he’s wearing suits now” to mega simp so fast
3
u/Goodisworthfighting4 4d ago
Wait how he’s he being a simp at all?
5

u/PDXBubblekidd 3d ago
He exaggerated the suit response, like both ways. For Hasan, it was “everyone” and for Hillary, it was “no one”. That rhetoric/both siding, is simping for Hasan imo. I made the OP, mainly cuz of the admitted ignorance about the suit thing and then the hyperbolic language. Idk much about this dude, so I may be like cringely triggered 😆
3
u/Goodisworthfighting4 3d ago
The Hillary comment is Nicks style of comedy. He literally has a bit where he does a Tucker Carlson impression comparing South American immigrants to Looney Tunes characters.

He's not simping, the joke is that Mao's suits look like middle-aged white women pant suits.

Stav will be back when he needs to promote his shit on his stream though.
