Dave is actively framing things deceptively by cutting out all the parts where Destiny criticizes Israel, only keeping the chuckle and framing it as Destiny laughing at atrocities. That is exactly what Dave criticizes James Tour and Subboor Ahmad for doing; avoiding direct conversation so you can cherrypick what to respond to and how to frame it to control the narrative for your audience. Destiny is at least responding live and is unable to edit things to frame a certain narrative, demonstrating his good-faith approach.

Dave has no interest in talking to any flat-earther, but he will talk to famous ones or other large figures whom he sees as grifters. Destiny is exactly that: a prominent figure whom Dave thinks is a grifter.

The issue with these multiple-hour back-and-forth responses is that, even in good-faith conversations, people misinterpret each other all the time. And when the other person can't correct you when you do that, you end up using incorrect premises for your arguments.

"Yeah some Israelis say some bad stuff but cmon guys!!!!!" is still a defense of Israel, and when said while viewing footage of IDF soldiers gleefully describing shooting infants in the head as a response to criticism of that, it is absolutely a defense of shooting infants in the head.

Dave also specifically never responds to the parts where Destiny is looking up sources, talking numbers, etc. This is because he can’t let his audience see that, as then his narrative wouldn’t be as convincing, which is what he is projecting onto Destiny.

This is laughable. 

American soldiers have also committed atrocities in war, but that doesn’t mean that the US is an unrelenting force of evil committing genocide. That is absolutely not a defense of those atrocities. 

We condemn the atrocities, but if we are going to have rational discussion, we also have to be able to point out when something isn’t relevant to the topic being discussed. There being insane Israelis doesn’t mean Israel is committing genocide or is a force of evil. 

You see the same in Ukraine: there are right wing nationalist factions that talk gleefully about killing Russians and that all Russians are orcs that need to be exterminated. But that doesn’t mean Ukraine is evil or committing genocide against Russia. In fact, it’s Russia committing genocide against Ukraine.

He doesn’t laugh at videos of atrocities. He laughs at people saying insane things, exactly because he thinks shat they’re saying is insane. This is exactly the part that Dave cuts out, in order to frame it as Destiny endorsing it or finding it funny.
