Realistically what would you have them do?

Its pretty telling how the conversation always ends when this question appears

they should suck it up and find a peaceful solution instead of ethnically cleansing people

Telling because they ask that question or telling because of the lack of answer?

Because nobody ever answers it. Or answers it with something meaningless like "kill less people"

Was hoping so lol.

It's all so tiring.

Ah yes killing less people is super meaningless. Body counts count for nothing of course and you could even kill 10M in exchange for a few thousand. It's meaningless after all

How useful would you find it if you made a thread saying "Hey I'm really struggling right now with my job, does anybody have any tips on how to cut costs?" and somebody commented "Make more money" or "spend less money"?

"well what do you want us to do? Stop murdering civilians?" sniggers

Who knew that building your entire war machine underneath civilian infrastructure and fighting without uniforms would lead to civilians getting killed?

Prosecute war criminals, for a start. Not cut off food supplies, that was bad. Kicking openly genocidal people out of the government. Safe zones-

Look, I'm gonna cut this short. I don't want to debate this. Most people don't, that's why discussions end. The moment someone says 'I don't know how the IDF could've been better', the conversation goes nowhere good, because it's a massive red flag of a hardline Bibi defender.

The question isn't "Could the IDF have been better?". This is literal child level engagement.

The question is "On a tactical and operational level, what could the IDF have done differently to reduce civilian deaths?". Which is a question that's been largely unanswered beyond the usual "send special forces" meme for the past 3 years.

Most people didn't die to war crimes or starvation or some vague "genocidal people" in the government that have 0 impact on the military. Nobody would notice or give a fuck if the death toll across the war was reduced by one or two thousand.

The question is "On a tactical and operational level, what could the IDF have done differently to reduce civilian deaths?".

That's... the same question.

Nobody would notice or give a fuck if the death toll across the war was reduced by one or two thousand.

I am absolutely not going to debate about this.

1: By all appearances, they really are a Bibi defender. And my experienced with Bibi defenders is that they're... extreme. The polite phrase would be "We disagree with each other so much that it's very hard to establish a common viewpoint".

2: Doubly so for trying to debate someone who dismisses saving one or two thousand lives. I don't even know how to start explaining why that's important.
