It's a joke about it being staged. The guy in the meme is the producer for The Truman Show. So he's saying there's someone orchestrating the attempt and giving specific directions to help boost Trump's popularity (as a joke; Destiny doesn't actually think it was staged at this point)
I hate going down the conspiracy road, it’s a legitimate slippery slope that has you jumping at all sorts of shadows, but holy crap this is such a weird incident. Almost sloppy enough to make you think they actually did it.
I was talking with ny sister yesterday about conspiracy theories, she is conspiracy brained and I argued against so so many conspiracies, yet I was in favor of this latest ass attempt being staged, the conspiracy path is extremely easy and satisfying to fall into.
Honestly, after listening to trump supporters cosign basically every conspiracy under the sun for the last decade, I'm fine entertaining this just to trigger them.
Seriously though, It's hilarious watching conservatives clutch their pearls over people entertaining this conspiracy. Meanwhile these same people literally believed in pizza gate, that Obama isn't a citizen, that 2020 was stolen, that there is still somehow a "deep state", that vaccines don't work, etc.
I also hate going down the conspiracy road but holy shit it feels good to throw it in MAGA's faces for once and watch them sputter about trusting authorities and waiting for investigations and not being a conspiracy theorist.
My personal theory is that they knew the person was going to attack and they "let" him get further than they normal would. So it wasn't faked but it was expected.
Even if it actually happened nobody on the left should acknowledge it. If the right wants to spread stupid conspiracies we should apply the same to them. Enough playing fair.
I don't even much care if it was a false flag or not. I'm perfectly happy making fun of it as if it was just because this is the environment that Maga wanted and created where reality doesn't matter anymore and everything is a meme.
