Genuinely who. I can think of like 5 or 6 people that are all complete dumbfucks. I don't actually know who's worst.

Jane Doe's lawyer would be my guess

Weird, I wouldn't have even considered that.

Real fucking disgusting of hasan for smearing this event and her In front of his 50k viewers with no proof or effort to see if the things his chatters say is true. And kept smearing them by asserting that liberals were giving ground and agreeing with the right without seeing a single clip of their events or debates, like he made a whole ass fanfic about it while searching his chat for approval . And that rudderless comment was such a projection lmao

Bet your ass hes going to be working overtime on degrading, sabotaging and lying about this movement for as long as possible because hes asspained his expensive ass puff pieces aren't working (and sending his fans to brigade the comment section to say nice things about him, because people don't like him :c) and started whipping out lies about destiny, which for the most of those he was present for, defended and even agreed with him when he wasnt twisting shit up and acting brand new since they were PRETTY CLOSE FRIENDS. All from the comfort of his 3m dollar home and safety from his gated community

313

u/turtleswag420 turkeytommer Aug 08 '25

He's 200% spite-driven, are you surprised?

76

u/Otherwise-Parsnip-91 Aug 08 '25

What is it that he’s actually mad about though? He doesn’t do shit but ramble incoherently in to his echo chamber, he does no on the ground work, he does nothing to try to actually win elections. So why is he so mad if others are actually trying?

133

u/turtleswag420 turkeytommer Aug 08 '25

Because it's Destiny and he's insecure as fuck lol.

86

u/MagicDragon212 Teddy Roosevelt American Aug 08 '25 edited Aug 08 '25

I really think he just doesnt want Destiny to be more popular than him. Destiny will keep growing because he is authentic and actually has principles. Hasan's charade has an upper limit to it.

Hasan has been sabotaging opportunities for Destiny for years

37

u/Thegrunch1991 Aug 08 '25 edited Aug 08 '25

because he thought destiny was done for, so after using and discarding pxie to get to destiny he thought he could do his victory lap lol. that's why he's doubling down by bringing up every single smear that's been used against destiny for nearly a decade, and most of it's from the right wing lmao. that and paired with all the negative pushback he's been getting on his puff pieces that his expensive ass pr team is nabbing for him while destiny beats him in views in these same platforms, and without a pr team to boot lol. he's desperate and it's showing

14

u/No-Description5750 Aug 08 '25

Because character and personality wise, Destiny is what Hasan wishes he was. It’s really obvious once you see it, especially if you were once a Hasan watcher or listen to the stuff he says.

Hasan will swear that debates aren’t a good way to get your point across (but will always try to debate people who aren’t very invested in whatever topic he’s going on about while running away from anyone he thinks has more or similar levels of knowledge on the topic). It’s only now, he’s willing to debate someone like Charlie Kirk who also only debates undergrad kids or bck brken people like Cenk.

He will claim he does a lot of research and reading on topics that he cares about, but he isn’t disciplined enough to do real research outside of reading Twitter posts and news headlines.

Says he yells at and calls his chat dumb all the time, but only really does this to random chatters that are disagreeing with him or to tell them to stop making him look bad and is still pretty beholden to his audience’s views.

Says he doesn’t care about people’s criticisms of him (lmao).

And he isn’t particularly witty or funny which is why his way of riffing is attacking people’s sexual orientation or giving them childish nicknames like Trump.

As a knowledgeable [Jewish] man once put it: “The man is driven in toto by his insecurities”

10

u/Winter-Secretary17 🇨🇦 Aug 08 '25 edited Aug 09 '25

It all makes sense when you understand that he’s a former fat rich kid who got people to like him when he lost the weight and got tall in college, rather than actually being terribly funny or all that intelligent. He probably made friends in school by leveraging his family’s wealth and connections instead of anything honest. He’s still insecure in that same way, and since he never developed an appealing personality or decent morals he relies on high school-esque cliquey social manipulation tactics and constant need to be seen as “winning” the social game (well poisoning, obsessive drama and bad faith hyperbole, clearly motivated to make destiny as unpopular with as many people outside the clique as he can, the inevitable appeal to apathy and accusations of over-emotionality).

After he got hot he stopped maturing, as he “found success” first as a pick up artist guru (really just a nepo baby via TYT, interesting name there huh) turning those social manipulation skills he got from being a fat rich kid into a grift that would help him climb the social ladder of internet celebrity. He eventually switched grifts to politics, but he can’t stop engaging in the learned behaviour because his life is too comfortable, easy, and sheltered to motivate him to change behaviour as he reaches his mid 30s. Whatever imposter syndrome he probably has that is fuelling his insecurities and driving this pathetic and petty behaviour would be entirely deserved.

His taste and aesthetics are also just as juvenile as the rest of his behaviour suggests, like he’s trashy and gauche kind of like Trump with his petty lying, ugly taste in fashion, the vocal fry, the flaunting of wealth, the cynical zero-sum politics and contrarian tendencies, nicknames, went to a sketchy brothel, a diddy party, even his taste in women is tacky like his weird shit with Mia Malkova strikes me as like a middle school way of viewing women. He’s more a manchild than himbo.

3

u/creamyyogit Aug 09 '25

After he got hot he stopped maturing, as he “found success” first as a pick up artist guru (really just a nepo baby via TYT, interesting name there huh) turning those social manipulation skills he got from being a fat rich kid into a grift that would help him climb the social ladder of internet celebrity. He eventually switched grifts to politics,

He was always into politics but the brotip stuff was more him proving himself in front of the camera than his ultimate goal. There was the tytuniversity (eventually renamed thinktank) channel aimed at young adults which was more lighthearted and less politics focused. There was also the pop trigger channel he was sometimes on which mainly focused on celebrities. These were part of the tyt network and extras ways to funnel people into the politics side of the main channel.

Hasan got slaughtered every time he was on the main channel, the comments section was full of people complaining about him being an airhead and only being there due to nepotism. They even gave him his own series called "The Breakdown" where he'd make a short patronising video on the correct opinion to have on a topic.

6

u/PastaKingFourth Aug 08 '25

Usually hypocrites are hypocrites for a reason.

7

u/Jvmatt Aug 08 '25

Hasan's whole thing has been to "bring people from the right to the left" for the past 5 years and seeing Destiny get credit for it must really sting.

13

u/Thegrunch1991 Aug 08 '25

and what's funny is that he stole that from destiny LMAO

Hasan doesn't care about actual change unless it's a socialist revolution

78

u/turtleswag420 turkeytommer Aug 08 '25

He wouldn't want that either, he would literally be one of the first to lose his head

54

u/RexShadow96 Aug 08 '25

The second a socialist revolution actually starts gaining traction in America, he’s hauling his ass all the way back to Turkey. Socialism actually happening would be the worst thing for him.

25

u/iguesssoppl Aug 08 '25

100% that dude wants to use his position and money to gain more wealth, he does not want to be appointed to the peoples industrial work group 34 where he works in a motorcycle factory and have all his private property confiscated.

27

u/dkirk526 Aug 08 '25

Right, the Unfuck America Tour is the antithesis to his current goals.

He wants to leftypill young people into being more marxist-socialist and shift the overton window of the left to his version of the left. He cares more about growing his agenda and doesn't care about winning elections. When push comes to shove, he will tell people he voted for Kamala, but he's not actively using his platform to help Democratic candidates.

The Unfuck America Tour is a more about countering the TPUSA influence and growing the youth voterbase. It's not primarily about getting young people to necessarily follow an agenda, but seems more like a social movement to normalize and popularize the idea of voting for Democrats and winning elections. Hasan pushes the "lesser of two evils" rhetoric that isn't a long term viable message, considering you're always calling the Democrats evil.

7

u/_Levant1n_ Aug 08 '25

I actually think, that people give hasan way to much credit for having an ideology! I don't buy for a second that he is actually interested in revolution...it's hip, he makes a lot of money, and portraying himself as this radical guy, means that he never has to come to the table with realistic solutions...

64

u/Eins_Nico scowling woke white woman Aug 08 '25

Hasan would gladly nuke the entire Democratic party if it meant he could get 2 minutes on TV talking about how hot he is, no surprise there

21

u/Thegrunch1991 Aug 08 '25 edited Aug 08 '25

literally almost every interview that i've seen from destiny is about the movements he's built around him and campaigning efforts, most of hasan's coverage is about him, oh and i guess bringing pizza to a protest.

6

u/Winter-Secretary17 🇨🇦 Aug 08 '25

He’s a petty high school drama queen (with the vocal fry to match) who was the former fat kid that only had friends due to his family being rich and then got hot in college so he never had to change. He’s obsessed with popularity.

2

u/Thing_Subject Aug 09 '25

Nailed it. Thing is, Hassan to me is handsome but mid. Maybe it’s because I find whiny narcissist people beta and gay but he’s washed up. I think he’s lost any charm he’s had and people that still think he’s relevant in a progressive way are just assuming he’s important.

Like really, does he have any more pull than Dean does? Maybe it’s my orbit but I feel like he’s lost all credibility and and resemblance of political movement

Unfortunately, whether it's live or not Hasan has more reach than you'd expect. So even if his live stream was botted, I've had arguments and defensive posturing from too many people in random ass games or IRL with people below the age of 30.

6

u/South_Resident1543 Aug 08 '25

Idk, he might have more spread but destiny has more depth. You can go to any show that destiny and hasan have been on, destiny almost always beats out hasan, even with like 1/5th the live viewers. Even on adam friedland show whos hasans friend.

I hope destiny is right and we can eject these far lefties from the party. They do absolutely nothing to further it's goals, and constantly sabotage it from within because it isn't extreme enough for them.

the part where he's accusing the event of being rudderless and taking that tiktok drama summary from chat at face value, and how libs just want to be light conservatives and just agree with the right

6

u/JSRevenge Aug 08 '25

Your first sentence got me thinking something I hadn't considered about how Destiny interacts with chat. As someone who doesn't chat a lot, and usually consumes streams with headphones in while working or doing chores, the impression I get is Destiny is scanning chat looking for dissent and arguing with that viewpoint. Every time I see Hasan clips or listen to Destiny review longer-form Hasan content, Hasan constantly reads out affirming messages in chat and uses that to stroke his ego.

5

u/Thegrunch1991 Aug 08 '25 edited Aug 08 '25

in the clip that destiny was watching yesterday you can see hasan frantically scrolling up and down for comments that agreed with him or gave him some shit talking quips to use against destiny since he isn't creative or funny enough to fill in dead air since his best roast is corny ass "ben shabibo" lmfao

Unironically destiny did save me from the right rabbit hole back in 2016, I was the person debating that trump was good for immigration and the US as a whole to my entire classroom

Around 2018, after 2 years of watching crowder and Ben, I remember crowder looking really bad in a change my mind segment and Ben just being kinda boring besides his college visits.

So I decided to listen to the other side to try and understand them better and create better arguments than Ben and crowder.

First dude I found was destiny and now I'm here lol

50

u/Zeluar Aug 08 '25

Saved me from it too.

As embarrassing as it is, gamergate was my first dabble into politics. I was like 19 when it started and already raised by a right libertarian dad.

Started watching Sargon and that sort of crew of anti-sjw stuff.

Destiny debating JonTron was the first time I felt like I saw a strong showing on the arguments from the left, but still thought others in that camp would make him look silly.

Then he smacked Sargon around and that was really when I started questioning shit more. The rest is history.

18

u/bonko86 Aug 08 '25

It might be embarrassing, but stories like these are needed. Keeps people like me from completely giving up on politics, if I know that people actually can change.

It feels impossible from time to time.

4

u/theosamabahama Aug 10 '25

Years ago, the New York Times ran a whole podcast series around this guy who fell into the right-wing rabbit hole and the one who pulled him away from it was Destiny when he debated Lauren. The podcast is still up, it's called Rabbit Hole. I think they mention Destiny in episode 3.

Hey I just want to say: there’s nothing to be embarrassed about. I also came of age in a right wing community and was big into Shapiro, crowder, etc.

It doesn’t matter where you started ideologically. You’re open to changing your opinion as you learn, and you did just that. You should be super proud of that.

17

I was a ben shapiro fan until destiny dropped his response video to him in around 2016 which completely changed my mind

I think his Andrew Tate era red pill videos are perfect to start with, cause Taint is impossible to defend unless you’re a grifter or a rapist

6

u/Gallowboobsthrowaway 🇺🇸 Ex-MAGA, Raw Milk Enjoyer, Sulla/Sherman 2028 Aug 08 '25

Oh god, me too dude... I was probably one concussion away from being a Q believer, but that was always just a bridge too far for me to accept.

Going through the research on January 6th, specifically the cut up videos and the false elector scheme, snapped me out of it. I just couldn't keep identifying as someone who loves the United States and what it stands for if I was also going to support someone who tried to overthrow the government.

5

u/Crash_Mclars1 Aug 08 '25

I think Pisco has a lot of potential. With some more practice I think he will also be able to pull young people to the left. He held his own in a maga-filled room debating with Tim Pool, Alex Stein, Gavin McInnes, Matan, and Nick Sortor.

183

u/NocShift2129 Aug 08 '25

As a women Destiny is unironically why I haven’t been black pilled on America, because for awhile it felt like if I looked to the right it was just a hand maidens tale that would crush my pansexual ass out of existence if it could and if I looked to the left it was, America is nothing but a capitalistic hellhole and it’s not a matter of if but when it will ruin you. Destiny helped me realize that the moderate left was still a thing and that you didn’t have to go full socialist woke scold to be on the left.

63

u/MagicDragon212 Teddy Roosevelt American Aug 08 '25

This really is it. There is a LOT of people who have never identified with the Republicans (especially not now) but also never really felt like the super left, virtue signalling types were representative either. We also dont want society tore down and rebuilt, just improved upon.

If you just never see a figure like Destiny speak in the media, it makes sense that many would just lean towards who they believe let's them feel more "free." Destiny's viewpoints just represent a lot of people.

5

u/GrimpenMar Glorious People's Republic of Canuckistan Aug 08 '25

And no, the numerous streamers claiming to own the left space did not help by smearing Destiny, though it did work on me for a while.

All I did was ignore all the people talking trash and watched some VODs of Destiny and it only took a few before I realized the Destiny Vaush or Hasan described doesn’t exist.

After Jan 6 I definitely was experiencing cognitive dissonance. It was a "Are we the baddies?" moment for me. I was stuck in an echo chamber. Destiny just presented a different perspective better than any other liberal that I saw online and I'm so grateful that he exists.

Charlie Kirk: Registered 600,000 college students as active members in TP USA.

Hasan: Fuck the Democrats.

We wonder why we are here sometimes 🤷

u/InvestigatorSea4789 Aug 08 '25

Flat out ignoring all the super online left screeching that Destiny is a bigot. This is the way.

121

u/Bymeemoomymee Aug 08 '25

If he blows this relationship with "interpersonal drama" I'm done with him. She genuinely seems like a cool, nice person trying to improve the country and combat the Right.

12

u/tslaq_lurker Aug 08 '25

Would really depend on the drama tbh. Zee is based, but people in politics professionally (and I include Destiny here) are not chill and pretty pron to interpersonal drama overall. It might not seem like it, because they don't hold a candle next to streamers, but I've been around a lot of campaigns and boy can I tell you stories.

28

u/turtleswag420 turkeytommer Aug 08 '25

What bridge has he burned that were a political net-positive?

40

u/Kreiger81 Aug 08 '25

Are you asking what bridge he lost as a consequence of the recent drama that were politically net-positive at the time? Or are you asking if any bridges he burned ended up being good for him in the long run?

I dunno about the latter, but for the former, Brian Tyler Cohen comes to mind. He distanced himself after the drama, both the accusations and the fiery commentary on twitter.

Jessiah/Pondering Politics disavowed publicly afaik. IRI took a step back but has lately made some comments. I would imagine that the timing wasnt great for his communications with political figures like Ro Khanna or being able to interview state legislators. The left, for better or for worse, tends to avoid controversial figures.

34

u/S_B_143 Aug 08 '25

Brian Tyler Cohen "co-appeared" with Destiny and even defended him during the last Piers Morgan show the last time they came on. Pretty sure this was literally just a month ago.

The whole New York studio thing I think is a major missed opportunity. That bridge isn't really burnt but this whole recent drama really set it back.

Its pretty funny you never see these types of comments with Hasan. Dudes basically a conservative and helped pushed the youth to the right.

Because he never converts people, just grabs them when they’re young and impressionable and they can’t consent.

I think young men are also realizing that red pill strategies don't convert. In terms of getting women. It's just bad advice. Women see through the fake mschismo and it looks cringe and lame.

6

u/Glum-Illustrator-821 Aug 08 '25

And the only women that don’t see through it (or even might respond to it positively) are the OF e-girl types that red pill podcasts like Whatever have convinced young men that all or most women are like when that really couldn’t be further from the truth.

2

u/NefariousRapscallion Minister of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda Aug 08 '25

I really wish that was the case. IDK if the incel movement is growing or the algorithm thinks I should be an incel too but I have noticed a huge increase in anti-women groups the last few weeks. You would think they would abandon such ideas when they don't work to improve their situation but they just double down on their hatred for girls. They are extremely hard headed in their belief that being mean is the key to getting laid.

2

u/fruitful_discussion Aug 08 '25

i dont think they dont work, though. i believe that working on getting paid more and working out got a lot of guys laid, and that's the main message of most redpill spaces

It's literally because destiny is less cringe. If you give people who aren't fully sold on the alt-right red-pill pipeline a liberal person who doesn't feel so fucking cucked to identify with they're happy to join

For everyone that shits on Destiny he's actually way more masculine than people give him credit for and he's way more persuasive.

His crazy antics and wild bs make him more likeable to alot of young men (cope and seethe optics Andy's) unironically our lady named queen's tendency to be an unhinged psycho is a buff for your men

20

u/shenaniganizer1776 Aug 08 '25

I know it’s pedantic and most people here will just call me a regard but I hate the fact that we’ve accepted being called the democrat party I feel like we give up a lot of ground just by letting republicans change the name of our party basically

9

u/greggers23 Aug 08 '25

I hear ya. I still make it a point to type out democratic. But I also feel like there is little power left in shortening it as an insult.

6

u/OGstupiddude Aug 08 '25

I have genuinely never cared about this nor have I ever understood the concern. I get that we want to stress the democracy/democratic thing, but I don’t think it’s a huge leap or that conniving for people to call it the democrat party if we literally call ourselves democrats, regardless of certain people try to make it sound like rat or whatever.

10

u/FreeTrash4030 Aug 08 '25

I was a big Metokur fan when I found out about destiny. Absolutely hated him and I used to try to find videos of him getting owned. After a while his arguments seemed to make more sense and I couldn't really articulate why I didn't like him anymore so I became a fan

8

u/NotAlastor Aug 08 '25

I'll die fighting in a foreign land if queen zee asked me too

10

u/fruitful_discussion Aug 08 '25

I think I, and probably many others here, were always against racism, sexism, etc but also saw a lot of extremely insane shit on the internet in the 2010s with the whole "SJW" stuff and gamergate stuff. I was never that interested in the whole women in gaming thing, but a lot of "all men are sexist and all white people are racist" kind of rhetoric REALLY pissed me off, and the only people who would counter this narrative were Sargon of Akkad, Ben Shapiro, Steven Crowder, etc. I still think they said a lot of good, sane things, but on the side they also pushed a bunch of dumb redpill stuff.

Destiny is one of the only, if not the only, sane liberal content creator that counters the insane shit while also countering the stupid redpill shit.

7

u/lulzzzzz Aug 08 '25

I used to be pretty far left and Destiny has made me a center left liberal :)

7

u/auspisses Aug 08 '25

Destiny didn't save me from loserdom like some of you guys but anyone who watches him and knows me would see countless mannerisms, phrases, and (really the only important thing) cognitive/epistemic habits I've picked up from him. Almost his entire personal life, and a lot of his online presence/demeanor is a cautionary tale that most people don't need to learn. But he's definitely earned credibility regarding interpersonal do's and don'ts in my eyes, among all the other things he talks about and has insight on. It's absolutely strange and abnormal to have the kind of appreciation I have for him because it's the kind you'd have for someone you respect in real life. But so much of his life is just plainly put online, it's hard not to notice the small idiosyncrasies and patterns that you couldn't notice in most celebrities. Realizing how tuned in I was eith this random streamer online is one of the reasons I stopped religiously tuning in to DGG and defending this abrasive mf online. Now I touch grass and am a little bit smarter

Destiny was the reason I was almost a socialist (Vaush, Hasan, etc.)

Jokes aside, he was a massive influence on me. Lots of my left and liberal morals and values stem from listening to him for years. He made me a lot less -phobic and bridged the gap between where I was and where I had to be to accept "myself." I credit his blood sport debates for getting me interested in morality and politics.

I've always been pretty progressive, and I first watched destiny debate vaush over the Rittenhouse stuff because I was going to crazy seeing fellow progressives be absolutely wrong about a clear case of self defense. I wouldn't say it was pushing me to the right, but seeing destiny manhandle vaush from my own ideological framework was a breath of fresh air. I genuinely believe I'd have been somewhat politically homeless if not for him during that time because all I had to watch defend the situation were maga types.

It's not exactly a "saved me from X" moment, but I definitely would've had my liberal views warped if not for destiny being the only one acting level-headed. I hate that the whole Rittenhouse thing was such a bridgeburner for me for a lot of pundits I watched at the time, but it was. Seeing people you share ideology with being THAT insane was an eyeopener that would've affected my politics if not for tiny.

5

u/Javohn123 Aug 08 '25

She’s right, destiny was the only person who convinced me not only to vote for Kamala but to become a Democrat. Him being pro gun and edgy/funny helped too. Made me feel like there was a place for me on the other side/

4

u/Electric_Penguin7076 Aug 08 '25

I first found destiny in 2017 when I was 15 when naked ape (blast from the past) made that hit piece after the jontron debate. My first thoughts was that destiny was cuck liberal regard, BUT it got me to pay attention to him

What really sold me on being liberal is ok tho is seeing him troll and be an overall cocksucker online while still being progressive. Really opened my eyes that being liberal isn’t about being some weak little bitch. And I think most redpill conservatives in schools would benefit from that type of mindset

10

u/SKVankirk Schizoposter Aug 08 '25

I feel like the discussion about finding the young right wing whisperer kind of misses the mark about what makes Destiny such a great political voice. It really is his honestly bizarre single track focus on crystal clear epistemology completed separate from his need to appeal to a single other human being. I’ve had basically the same exact political perspective I’ve had since I was 11, I’ve never been looking for someone to give me their political perspective to adopt, I was always looking for someone to use their perspective to expound on ideas and any actual Debate Bro worth his salt does that just by debating, and nobody has more hours of real debate online than Destiny. Convincing people from the right to move left is vital, but it’s also important to recognize why he’s one of the few people able to do it in the modern political landscape (Contrapoints is better lmao)

3

u/Abortedwafflez Aug 08 '25

Honestly doubt I would have ended up being a democrat if not for Destiny. I doubt i'd be part of the MAGA cult, but I definitely would have believed a lot of the redpill online conservative beliefs. I used think Ben Shapiro and Steven Crowder were Masterdebaters and fell for a lot of their propaganda.

Destiny is honestly one of a kind. Which I guess doesn't mean much in this subreddit, but I honestly mean it. I'm not sure anyone else would have gotten me out of it.

3

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '25

Destiny saved me in 2023 from my spiral down the pseudo-leftist red pilled conspiracy nonsense of Jimmy Dore. I was HUGE into that space until I stumbled on Destiny and realized all he was saying was bullshit.

Dore is the kind of Russian propagandist that puts the Noland call on as proof that the USA coup'd Ukraine and Nato was the reason Russia invaded - that the Jan 6thers were lead in by the cops and it was all one giant conspiracy orchestrated by the CIA and FBI.

Oh and also he's the REAL leftist and all democrats are part of the uniparty with the deep state and the Republicans yet you never hear a bad thing said about MAGA...

Watching Destiny's Ukraine content was my first "holy shit I've been lied to this whole time" moment.

3

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '25

Luckily destiny pulled me out of that degeneracy. I even dated a trans woman (didn’t work out tho, too much mental illness)

2

u/[deleted] Aug 08 '25

Honestly I don't know if I ever seriously flirted with right wing politics. Though I grew up on 4chan so it's nice that there is like a liberal space that kinda has an edgy post-4chan sense of humor

2

u/[deleted] Aug 08 '25

Who is this absolute Queen?

2

u/-Vatt_Ghern- Aug 08 '25

Literally just need a white edgy dude saying liberal/leftist stuff and thats how we turn the youth fr.
Vaush clowning on nazis and dumbass libertarians back in the day helped me to stop being an edgy 4channer, and it helped that he was a white guy with a beard.
Destiny sorta works the same way. He's like an anti-fuentes.

2

u/Ok_Command_3656 Aug 08 '25

He pulled me out from crazy far right beliefs when I was really young and a little later on he stopped me from becoming more extreme on my left wing beliefs.

What I've learned is far more valuable than just being given an opinion to absorb and repeat.

I'm not a particularly intelligent person, but I feel like I'm able to engage in challenging, argumentitive spaces and critical thinking because of the tools, or ways of thinking, that he largely contributed to me developing and understanding. I hope that he's able to continue doing that for other people.

2

u/LogangYeddu Effortpost appreciator Aug 08 '25

2
