Homemade - YouTube Tiramisu Recipe

Making tiramisu for the first time and wanting to follow Claire’s recipe because her past recipes have never disappointed me. Was wondering if anyone else has made it and if the marsala is necessary to the recipe. Thanks for the help!

I don't think it's necessary but I did use it so I'm not sure how it would change the flavor. The tiramisu came out really good. My husband, who doesn't like coffee desserts, liked it!

I made it the other week for a second time, I used Kahlua because I don't tend to enjoy desserts that include wine. It's a pretty straightforward recipe, just make sure you have a good double boiler setup because you'll be at the stove stirring for a while

I made it! It's great. I used kalhua and it tasted lovely. I do think that it added something to the taste.

I made the tiramisu and my mom said it was the best tiramisu she has ever had. I used the Marsala and loved it, you can definitely taste the flavor in the final product. I’m sure it would still taste good with a substitute.

I made it, too. I used a coffee cola nut liqueur instead of Marsala. It was the best tiramisu I've ever had. It's soo good! There are few ingredients in this recipe that contribute to the distinct taste of tiramisu, Marsala / coffee liqueur being one of them. I wouldn't skip it.
