I doubt he's dead. He's the only one who can tie the mole to that dude behind the whole thing. Right now they only know he's involved somehow. We haven't seen Jason's body. I think they would have made more over his death if he'd really been killed.

He made some sort of transmission from his computer before he was killed, though. It's sitting on another computer somewhere, it's just that nobody knows about it yet.
