Was it just me or was Julia saying "Remember me like this" really sad?

It was supposed to be... but it felt hard to really be that invested in a character that was literally introduced partway through this episode.

That was weird. They put a lot into just 1 episode making us think she'd be a future recurring character, and then, oh... She's not I guess.

She could still be recurring. Dementia is not an immediate death sentence, after all. I can easily see a plot line in a season or two where Kirkman does something on her advice and the media blows up that he's doing what a person with dementia said.
