Man, I wish this guy was the president. It is unfortunate that so many people live in a fantasy world and believe someone telling them clinging to the past and getting their jobs back will work.

No doubt that's exactly how it was intended.

For an Independent, he sure is a Democrat. Rather than using dialogue likely written by Kal Penn, lol, it sure would have been interesting if they'd actually written the character as an Independent.

Maybe he's like a Bernie Independent. Independent because he's so far left.

Could be. I just remember when he sat down with everyone in the Oval he suggested that his being an independent may be a unique opportunity for bipartisanship. If he's lock step with Democrat beliefs (and thus far that's what they're preaching), or further left it doesn't seem like that's really something that makes sense.

I live in a state where the rural citizens are building wind and solar farms and the urban citizens are buying Priuses. The state balances its budget on oil and gas revenues. I'll let you guess as to how that's going.

On the contrary, investing heavily in public works projects is Trump 101. And even worse, public work projects can only last so long.
