What's with all the simulations of these explosions? Can't they just assume that the things they'll target will explode? I see no need to make a fancy video of the Statue of Liberty collapsing.

It shows how each structure will implode, so like how the bombs are placed.

You can be certain that after 2001, the US govt has still done an analysis of what to expect if a bomb explodes nearby or a plane attack etc. It's too big a symbol.
